Love it except that the USB hole doesn't account for pushing the cable in flush to the device. I have three cables (home, work, and external battery pack) that don't work with this. At least the one at home will actually catch enough to charge the device. The others, I have to hold the cable pushed in for the device to recognize that a charging cable is connected. Oh Google, your industrial design is so half thought out.

The color has worn off but does what its supposed to. Has with stood more then a few drops ☺

It should have come with phone to begin with.

This is a good case, and fits well, as you'd expect from an "official" case. The texture mimics the feel of the Nexus 5. The back is completely flat, which I really like because I use my phone as a calculator a lot, so my old case which was slightly rounded would rock back and forth if I pressed keys towards the edges. Because it continues the form of the Nexus, wider towards the back and is flat, it does look a bit more like a brick in my pants pocket but a 5" phone is hard to conceal under the best of circumstances - this case just makes it a little more obvious. The case rises above the screen and the camera enough to keep them from touching the table or desktop when you set them down. The speakers, flash, USB port and 3.5mm headphone ports are all easily accessible. The buttons take more effort to push with the case on, but they are not difficult. The buttons with no case on the Nexus 5 are super easy to press so in contrast, a case does make them less easy to press but not as bad as other cases have made other phones I have had. I have the gray case, and haven't had it long enough for it to pick up pants colors as some have noted. I like it enough that I am thinking about getting the red or yellow version to use when I'm camping this year so it's easier to find if I drop it.....
