Noticeable difference! But be aware of the odor it gives off!
Pretty good actually, definitely noticeable difference from the noise coming from a busy street.UPDATE: I have rated it as 3 - Stars now because of the strong odor that it gives off, the odor from I don't know what, but when the weather got hot, the odor made me nauseous, I ended up ripping it up from the window and throwing it away.

The acoustic foam 12" blocks that I received were thick, and came with an adhesive backing which made them a breeze to hang up. Remember to scrub the wall with with something like a magic eraser to ensure that the backing has a good contact surface. This product works well to dampen the sound of a busy road outside my apartment, and should be easy to blend into the room if I alternate with padding of a different color.

Absolutely awesome! Not only a rare 3", but they are adhesive backed! No messing around with glue and push pins. One hint, peel the backing off slowly to avoid the adhesive coming off with the paper backing.

Works pretty well! This is one of the larger sizes I found (3 inches) and I assume this helps in performance. I'm a podcaster in my basement and this certainly helps dampen some of the environmental sounds coming from family and pets upstairs! Assembly couldn't have been easier and adhere very well!

6 were great, 6 were misshapen. Quality Control issues.
The ones I received were mixed quality. Half of them were permanently deformed (photos attached). The ones that were well formed, look and work great.The seller did refund half of my purchase price promptly. I would have preferred replacements though because they raised the price by $16 after I initially bought them.In the end, I got a good deal on 6 pieces which left me short 6 pieces for my project though.
