As others have noted, the double stick tape provided by the manufacturer is totally inadequate. I used the stick-on 3M loop lock type of fasteners that are used for holding an EZ-Pass on a windshield. Other than that the actual mic hook is just fine and blends in nicely with my dash. I did not want to use something metal that would stand out.

works good but you need to use your own adhesive. Black 3M works the best.

The plastic material is so thick that a standard microphone will not fit down into it.I wasted my money on this.
