Worked well on a few different types of spills I have had. Pet stains too.

Wow. Just wow. A pearly almost white carpet. Yah, I know. Spots, both larger spots: * Soup/cumin-orangee, and separately * Garlic butter dipping sauce. Amazed this worked on both! Noting that as directed this continued to slowly lift the stains over 24-hours. I blotted well initially and then returned all day every few hour(s) as long as cleaner was still damp to re-blot well with a folded paper towel. I wasn't sure until nightfall that it was gonna completely remove the spots, but thrilled it fixed both!

This formula is pure magic. I'd love to know the chemistry behind it. We use this on our carpet at church for the many, many coffee spills it gets every week. I spray it on the coffee spill (on a light beige carpet) and the stain is gone before I can blink. It's hard not to demonstrate its powers to anyone that will humor me as I clean. This is a definite must-have for me.

I have a Doberman who has a very sensitive stomach; as a result I have extensive experience cleaning up messes on carpet. I have found that many products do a relatively good job of cleaning poop, but often leave a brown stain. Products with Oxy are the best at removing stains. The Bissell oxy power shot is excellent at treating stains after I have removed as much as possible with conventional cleaners. It works exactly as indicated in the directions, squirt the product to cover a stain, let it sit for a minute and wipe off with a microfiber cloth. Rarely a second treatment is needed. The only limitation is that the can emits a thin stream, suitable only for covering small spots. A single can treated two or three accidents (each including a half dozen areas) from my 75 pound dog. This was first removing as much as possible with paper towels, then treating with a liquid carpet cleaner designed for pets ( I have tried several, they are about the same) and finally using the power shot to treat any remaining spots.

Outstanding cleaner, it removed stains I thought would not come out...the stains came out.

I was skeptical about buying this carpet spot and stain remover, but I was very surprised at how well it worked. I’ve now bought it for a second time.
