An amusing bit of research that makes for pleasant and entertaining reading. This is the type of book that doesn't necessitate endless cover to cover reading and is easy to pick up and read when you've even a brief moment to relax.Typos and poor sentence structure are common, but then the writing is in a very colloquial form and thus not genuinely bothersome (except to old teachers).

Bill O’Neill has done it again. This book is packed with so many interesting facts I can’t possibly name them all. One thing that I really like about Bill’s State Books is his format. I like the fact that it’s so easy to go back to something you want to tell someone about or just reread again for yourself. I absolutely hate books where you find something interesting and you can’t find it again. Or it takes you forever to try and find it again. This will never happen with Bill’s books. You can always find what you are looking for and want to share. I for one Love the section on Nicholas Sparks Books & Movies. I did not know that every single one of his books is set in North Carolina. And almost all of them were filmed in North Carolina. North Carolina also has The Biltmore Estate. That has a very interesting history. Can you say Ghosts?? I always wanted to go there and see the inside. I was in North Carolina once but I only saw it from the Outside. It is Massive. It looks kind of like a Castle. Bill says it’s the biggest property in the whole state. They say it could take one full day maybe even 2 days for you to really see everything if you want to see it for yourself. . I will definitely put that on my Bucket List to go there. Just no ghosts please. LOL. I did not realize all of the things there are in North Carolina!! Thanks to Bill’s North Carolina State Book....Now I do. I can’t wait for his next State Book. If any of you are like me and like reading a little bit about a lots of things than you will definitely enjoy this book.True Fan Forever

Be careful reading this book to children or giving it to children to read. If ur using as a homeschool curriculum, be advised that it mentions sexual laws.

Read this and you will be interesting at cocktail parties.

Would highly recommmed to read.
