I’ve got a great hair stylist, I really do.However, she used a toner that was too bright and violet.This left a a silver cast to my hair.It might look really nice on someone with cool toned skin, but I have a warm complexion and it looked harsh, like I had gray hair:-(I purchased this in hopes of sparing her feelings.Thankfully, it is super easy to use.Apply to towel dried hair.There is no mess, this did not stain my hands or skin.I left on for 20 minutes and rinsed.This came out just as I hoped.Not brassy, just a lovely shade of golden blonde.I love it! Left my hair smelling wonderful and fixed the harsh silver.My hair is soft and shiny as well!A++++!!!

I'm naturally a dark brown brunette. I bought this to help camoflauge grays (I'll share the results of that later), and figured it would also tone down some redness from experimenting with hair colors. I liked the consistency of the product. It's like a paste. Not messy at all, however, I did use rubber gloves applying it. The fragrance is pleasing, not overpowering. I applied all over but really concentrated on my roots. My goal wasn't total gray coverage, just a tint. I'm tired of dying my roots with permanent dye and having that sharp line of demarcation. Also, I don't have a lot of gray, so I don't want to keep using permanent dye if it's not necessary. I let this stay on for a little longer than 10 mins. The tube stays there's no need for conditioner, but I have curly hair. I NEED conditioner. So I applied my conditioner after rinsing. The results- it did darken my hair and removed some of the redness. It didn't tint my grays as much as I hoped. But it did tone down the stark whiteness and made the line of demarcation less noticeable than before. Maybe with more applications they'll tone down even more. I noticed my hair felt good and looked shiny. I didn't notice much dark color rub off on my towel, so that's a plus. Also, I have low porosity hair, so it's more difficult for my hair to accept color, but this product worked for my hair just as described. The only thing I'm hoping for is a cumulative effect on my grays with more usage. Otherwise, I really like this product and will keep using it and see how it goes.

I've used the red one before several times. I've always bought at Wal-Mart. I liked the virbant red color but not a fan of the pink it fades too. But, tbh, it didn't fade to the pink until about the 5th hair wash. I don't wash my hair everyday like I shower. So I'd have the nice red for about 3-4 weeks.Now, I've thought to try to warm brown one from Amazon. Better price deal for 2.I like the color it gives. Someone else mentioned a coppery brown/brick red. I agree. And I love it.HOWEVER. Why does it wash out so fast??? The red from walmart doesn't do that. The red fades to a pink slowly. Like I could probably get 5 hair washes before getting to pink level. With this warm brown one from Amazon, it literally washed out the second hair wash time! Now I expect for a little of the color to wash out but still mainly white foam from my shampoo. But with the warm brown one. The shampoo foam was literally yellow-brown color. And it was obvious to me that over 50% of color came out.That's unfortunate. I'll buy from Walmart and test it out. I'm hoping it's just a source problem because I really like the color.... but if it does the same thing then I guess it's just the formula for this color.
