MICK THE TICK!
With some intepridness, I decided to go ahead and purchase/read this book without expecting much that was positive. But, I was very pleasantly surprised to find a really good story here.PROS:--Mick's story is quite refreshing. Yes, he's a thug, but the author took a different path toward telling his story. I didn't expect that--The author took the two very different backgrounds of Roz and Mick and brilliantly wove them together through their pain--The action scenes and love scenes were woven together seamlessly without causing me, as a reader, to have to constantly go back into the story for clarification--We were given more information about Clan Sinatra through Mick's experience that was extremely interesting and even enlightening--Miss Roz is quite the lady! Readers will be tempted to compare her to Trina, but she stands on her own personality and experience in lifeCONS:--Can't think of any serious ones right now! The typical typos are there, but they weren't a great distraction to me this time aroundI look forward to learning more about Mick's children and their life development if the author chooses to go in that direction. I believe that Ms. Monroe's fan base will be pleasantly surprised to read this latest installment. She wrote this story using the talents that made us fans in the first place. So, take a chance on it. Buy it, find a cozy spot to read it and enjoy!

Finally read it and finally finished it
WOW what can i say about Mick Sinatra he is so different from Charles Sinatra you wouldn't even think that they would be brothers considering that they are so opposite from each other but the more you got to know mick you can tell that he had a lot of hurt inside of him that he couldn't trust nobody and especially love anybody including his kids but that all had changed once he meet rosalind a.k.a roz she had changed him for the better because even though he didn't believe in relationship rosalind wasn't afraid to call mick out on his bs and like many of his man that was afraid to stand up to him she wasn't and that was one of the things that i like about her she wasn't afraid to call out mick when he was doing wrong and in fact she was the one who encouraged him to spend time with his kids just finally financially but also emotionally. But one thing i also liked about mick he allowed roz to come into his world and allowed her to see the real him and he was honest about him self and at the same time he made her be honest about her self but once thing i can say was that this was a great story

I loved this book
I loved this book. I simply could not put it down. Ms. Monroe can certainly weave a good storyline. This book for me was unexpected in that it had more depth and seem to be well thought out. Mick's character was expected in that he was a hard core mafia but he had some soft edges too. Not only that, but the storyline involving his kids made you pause for a minute and appreciate the framework laid by the author for him trying to reconnect in later books. It was really good how for the first time he realize his lack of absence in his kid's life may have impacted their development. I can't wait to see how hard he works at developing a relationship with them. Which will be even more intriguing since he's headed to see his brother "the Sinatras" and how he has managed to keep his kids close.Roz is perfect for Mick. Right from the start we're introduced to a smart, hardworking, intelligent, fiercely loyal person who will not settle for less than what she is worth. As a reader I really appreciate that the author took the time to develop her character and as such I was not left with a undecided and clingy type of person. I am looking forward to seeing her character development. I also love that she also loves Mick's children without any pretense and is willing to assist in bridging the gap. The sign of a "grown woman"Overall, and awesome read and I cannot wait for the next installment!

Gotta Gangsta Singing like a Blind Man
Some puns are intended and gangsta's are hard. A good woman is soft and the world outside the bedroom is more REAL than the world inside. Old and new Mallory Monroe fans gather up, it time to dig deep for a another great series. Mick the Tick and Roz the Boz match and set. You will enjoy this story of unshakable love found in an unsuspecting place. Lust-Sex-Love follows its course as does Plot-Scheme-Kill does. You will enjoy this NEW series and get more BANG for your BUCK (double entendre with a wink). A fan has the same problem with Mallory as always, waiting for the NEXT installment :-)

Malory has done it again!
This is another awesome book by this author. I’ve seen Mick’s name being mentions numerous times in other books by this author and I thought why not read Mick’s story. I must that that I was not disappointed. Roz was that little bit of light Mick needed. This goes to show that no matter how crazy we are there is always someone crazy enough to love us or to see pass our crazyI was heart broken when I read that little Shane died. People can be so mean and cruel sometimes. However , I was excited that Mick was willing to form a relationship with his children thanks to Roz of course. Like I’ve said earlier, this book was not disappointing and I look forward to reading the other books in this series.I wouldn’t go as far to say this is my favorite series as yet by Ms Monroe but so far there is potential.Happy reading to those who are about to read this book!

Addicted to the Series!
I am now becoming addicted to the Mick Sinatra series! Whew! This is the first time reading about Mick and Roz. I always would be curious about Mick especially while reading Reno, Sal and Tommy Gabrini's and the connection they have to Mick (Sal and Tommy being Mick's nephews). And, surprised also that Mick is friends with Alex Drakos as well! All of these alpha males are becoming my favorites! Onward to reading the next book about Mick the Tick!

So much fun to read!
Totally love these Sinatra books and Mick's story is no different. If you're looking for a 'serious' piece of literature then this is probably not your cup of tea. However, if what you seek is a bit of escapism, some fun, a little action, a giant scoop of sexiness and another giant scoop of suspended disbelief then... Welcome! Come right in!I love the characters that Ms Munroe creates. They are perfectly imperfect - lovable without being saccharine, some full of attitude, some full of pride... I also love how the guys in her books always "put it on" their women. I must confess that phrase cracks me up every time. It's not a turn of phrase I hear a lot in the UK and somehow it just makes me laugh.. hell I'm laughing while typing this thinking about it! But to be fair, the Sinatra men do seem to know what they're doing in the bedroom and they definitely "put it on" their women. Mick is no different!Would I willingly get involved with a mobster? Would I hang on to a dying career so long? Probably no and no... but hey, this isn't about realism. It's about fun. This a very fun read, with a very sexy leading man, and a leading lady that is no pushover which I absolutely LOVE! I can't stand the insecure spineless women in some books that are forever needing their men to prop up their self esteem. So maybe that is what I love most about Ms Munroe's books. They leading ladies are never damsels posing as weeping willows. They are strong, intelligent women who make a perfect match for the difficult, sexy men that can't get enough of them. So... NEXT SINATRA BOOK PLEASE!
