Cute book for big sister to be to prepare for younger sibling.

This book was super cute. Bought for a friend who was having their 2nd child. The illustration was just precious and it was definitely a very well done book. Great quality.

Bought as a gift for a friend who is expecting their second daughter. Along with items for the new baby, we gave this to the soon-to-be older sister. The book does a nice job explaining what to expect with a new baby sister. Simple, charming illustrations by Peter Reynolds ("the dot" and "Ish").

Needed a book for a big sister that little brother had already arrived, this was more in anticipation of baby than we needed. Cute book, tho

Spoiler alert! I quote a couple things from the book in my review. It doesn’t give anything away, but just know there are a couple actual quotes.I love this book! It makes me tear up honestly. The first time I read it I thought “well that’s kinda weird. Very simple text. I wonder if kids “get it”?” But my daughter (2.5yrs at the time) really connected it to the upcoming baby. Then when the baby arrived we could connect things to the book like “sleep fuss eat repeat”. Now I’ll catch them playing together their own little sister games and it brings tears to my eyes and I think things like “singing swinging REAL fun beginning”, or “from that first hug and kiss - the most wonderful big sis!” I just love it. It’s so sweet and perfectly captures my daughter in her new role as big sister and my little one’s awe and admiration of her big sis.

My daughter loves reading this book, especially once I told her it's about her and her soon to be baby brother. She loves the pictures and is always laughing at them.

This is such a cute Big Sister book. My niece loved it. The illustrations are adorable and it does a great job highlighting all the fun of being a big sister to a new baby. In just a few months my 2 year old niece has learned the story and can read it to her mommy.
