I just went walking up a hill in 38 degree weather wearing this balaclava. It was very easy to breathe through the mesh. I will say that you can wear this two ways. One is over your nose when it is really chilly and then you can pull the mask down under your chin if you want less warmth.I found this kept my neck warm but also did not make my head sweat like other hats and balaclavas tend to. When you are active and moving around that is important I think. I also liked that the balaclava covered my forehead at the top.This seems to be windproof and I wish I'd had it a few days ago when I was out in the wind and forgot to bring it! I work in the freezer and this has helped alot. The mesh makes it easy to breath while keeping me warm and no moisture buildup.

This is a good ski mask. For the price, it’s a great deal. I needed something as a beginner and stumbled on this brand. It worked well for me. One thing I will say is if you have a smaller head, it won’t fit right. The mask itself is pretty big. With that being said, the material is thick and doesn’t feel cheap. I will say that my face was still freezing with having this on but I think it did an overall good job.

I recommend washing this before you wear it. There is a strong chemical smell to the fabric. I found the fit to be a bit uncomfortable. It kept me warm and helped me breathe without fogging my glasses. I wore another hat over it to keep me super warm. Maybe I should have sized up so there was a bit more room.After I posted this message, customer service reached out and offered to refund my purchase. I really appreciate their attention to customer service and declined the refund. I'm going to keep the balaclava and try it again to see if I can get used to it.PS - I have super long hair and I was trying to wear it with a bun ... that was a big part of the problem.

Been working in the Alaskan seafood processing industry for 3 years now and finally came across a ski mask that keeps me warm, comfortable, of high quality material and breathable. It's my best finding, have tried lot of them, but this is THE ONE.

Fits well but a little gappy over nose. Fogs glasses.

Great product but I wouldn't use it to go skiing. Not very breathable if you are running or doing exercise. But to keep warm, it is great! Good quality!
