Husqvarna 532173436 Pulley Genuine Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Part

This pulley is from a good after market supplyer. "Stens". As for the question about this not being the typ of pulleys that Husqvarna use on there equipment, the answer is, it is, just a different finish or paint job is the only difference. I have two Craftsman mowers one from the 90's and the other from the 2000's and bouth have had this typ of pulleys. Now befor any one starts somthing and says that's a Craftsman thing and not a Husqvarna thing I would like to point out that Craftsman riding mowers are Husqvarna.I will say that the picture for this listing needs to be updated and changed to the "Stens" product.I was searching for the "Stens" riveted typ of pulleys and I couldnt find what I wanted so I just decided to go with this one. Much to my surprise I got what I was originally looking for. It would have saved me loads of time if the picture was the correct one.The quilty of the product looks realy good. It has a good finish and is coated with a rust resistant finish. Some people have said that this pulley has caused damage to there spindles and caused them to fail. I cant believe that the pulleys caused the damage. It usually is a Torque issue either too tight or too loose can cause this kind of failure. On Craftsman and Huskvarna 55 to 65 pounds Of torque For proper installation is needed. Check specs for your particular model.Overall I am 100% pleased with my purchase and I will buy again.

Fits Husqvarna Mz 52. Bought this and installed a year ago. works fine. I'll buy this again when the other ones eventually wear out. I only needed one due to hitting an object. The screws are not tapped but not an issue, they tap themselves as you screw your new bolts in. Also purchased the following items that work with this item, this may save you some time in terms of research. You may not need all of the items below but should at least buy new screws. I'm posting this review for all of the items listed here so as to give an idea of compatible parts. As I was rebuilding the deck on my Craftsman mower, I noticed that both pulley teeth had been completely stripped and therefore unusable, so I ordered two new ones through Mowtownusa and within three days i had two new PERFECTLY matched (and even superior) pulleys on my doorstep! Bolted them on and finished rebuilding the deck! So far i've ordered three different items through Mowtownusa and EACH was promptly shipped and quality parts!

This worked well for my Husqvarna mz5424s. It appears to be near the same quality as the OEM and installed effortlessly. I forgot to order a replacement Spindle Washer and regret it as I lost the original one that was part of the older spindle. Even if you don't need it I would recommend you order one just in case, without it you will totally destroy this pulley.

The pulley I received was not the same as the one pictured. I received a two piece riveted pulley. Although after measuring everything was the same size. I continued with installation. After mowing a shirt period of time I began to notice a squeak and movement from the pulley. I tightened the spindle nut and tried again, sound and movement the same. I decided to pull into the garage and disassemble it. The pulley was rounded, every groove sheared off, and my spindle is now shot. I am very disappointed with this product.

Arrived on time. Was as advertised. Fit perfectly. Priced much less than the dealer. I'm happy!
