I wanted to connect my old WII (RCA) to my new 4K TV (HDMI only). Yeah yeah, I know. I'm not getting (obviously) HD video but I have fun with my old WII. I have PS4 and XBox so I wasn't interested in upgrading the WII to a Switch and buying replacement games but it's still fun to play old school. I was worried about how well (if at all) this converter would work. Works great - simple install right out of the box. Just a heads up, it needs a USB power plug so plan for that.

The instructions enclosed with the device did not have illustrations and were incomplete. I went onto Amazon and found the illustrations and correct instructions on the information page. Once I figured out I had to connect the USB power cord, it worked very well.

Arrived the day after I ordered it. It works as promised. Easy to use. I was able to use it with an old VCR tape player as well as my DVD player. I was unable to use my wii device with it though, but that is not a deal-breaker for me. All-in-all a great and useful product. A free 2 year warranty is provided by the company.

Well...it does what it's described to do. But not well. I have this connected to my 27 inch PC monitor, from my gamecube. I didn't expect the picture quality to be great, so I won't knock off points for that. However, it does have some distortion on the right side of the screen, which is really annoying. Also, if you have it connected to a screen that you usually do not manually turn off - such as a PC monitor, which usually automatically turns off when not un use - this converter will keep it indefinitely on. It seems that when plugged in but not in use, the converter sends a constant signal to the screen. Which means, if you use something like a PC monitor that you usually don't manually turn off, you have to either manually turn off the monitor or disconnect the adapter. Just expected the product to be a bit better than this.

I was so excited when I found this product! I’ve been wanting to play my N64 for quite some time but haven’t been able to because of rapidly changing technology making it hard to connect older technology to newer TVs. This device makes it possible to play all of my childhood favorites on my new tv with amazing picture quality. The setup is very straightforward, there are multiple cords but it only takes a few minutes to hook everything up. As soon as I got it, I played my N64 for hours. It was fantastic! 10/10 for this product!

Does not work correctly with newer tvs. Picture is stretched and dark. I got a headache after playing like that for 5 minutes. Not recommended.

Doesn't work. It needs usb power supply (included) and a hdmi wire (not included). This things is a pain so far. Go with the more expensive options w everything included and no usb power supply needed. Not impressed w this cheap converter. It can display "no signal" in 720 or 1080p. Complete garbage.
