LOVE!
This is a great book!! Needed it 6 years ago in college. Continue to use it when planning often. Differentiation is a huge part of our evaluations and this book has offered numerous ideas. I teach ASL as a world language and have been able to apply many of the ides, strategies, and activities from this book even though they are all for spoken languages. I recommend this book to all of my colleagues when we talk about differentiation.

Lots of Teaching Ideas
If you're looking for a compilation of teaching ideas to suit the needs of your students, this is a great book. The downside of this book is that it does not have any colorful images so as to give the reader a better idea of how these strategies work. But you can always use the internet to further your knowledge of the strategies.

Differentiated instruction for the FL classroom
It's a great book but still there a lot stuff that you have to do on your own, and that's exactly where I am right now. The book is a great tool and guide to help start your differentiation process. Since there isn't much on differentiation for FL classroom, this is like the corner stone for FL teachers, so I highly recommend it to you.

Go Deb Blaz!
Thank you for making these fabulous resources for FL teachers. This one is good - but my favorite is still the Active Learning book by Deb. Those ideas are equally applicable to differentiating lessons as well.Just to be fair.. here's your warning: DO NOT bring these books to show other teachers. Your copy will walk away. Mine has - THREE TIMES! LOL

Differentiated Instruction
Good but kind of dense. I would have preferred a little more "how to" and not so much theory - but there was good information and I will be using it.

Great for a PLC concept!
The book was slighly used, but I bought it used so my expectations were met. The chapters are well written and easy to read. You will be able to read it over a week. Perfect short book for summer reading!

A great buy for lesson design / not blackline masters
If you are not a reader, then don't waste your time looking for 'blackline' masters in this guide. Rather, if you are a reader / looking for instructions on how to roll out new ideas in terms of lesson design, then it is a great buy.

Packed with practical strategies and ready-to-use ideas
Love it! This book is filled with excellent practical strategies and sample lessons to apply to the language classroom. I teach middle school French immersion and used her ideas the day after I received this book in the mail. It is an easy read and well organised. I immediately went back after I purchased and used the ideas in the book and bought Blaz's other books.
