Reliable, well-made work box that offers a strong connection to the wall
Have used this product for old work in my homes for years. It offers a full-sized box with lots of room for wiring and cable nuts, that is easy to install and fixes firmly to various thicknesses of dry wall and (when I need a bit more holding power) plywood reinforcement. One thing that would make it easier to use is inclusion of a template of heavy gauge paper/artist's board (it could be included in each box as it would fit diagonally).

Great fix
We had an outlet that kept pulling out of the granite every time we unplugged something. So we tried this box with “wings”, and it solved the issue.

Good for single pole light switch
This is standard size and good for a single pole light switch but I wouldn’t recommend for a gfci outlet- get a deeper box if you are putting any-thing bigger, especially if you will also have more than 2 wire nuts in it.

A bit fragile
This is a replacement for the same box that failed after 10 years. One of the plastic tabs that hold it in the wall broke.

Not legal - shmegle. Solved my problem big time. I would'nt would use a batch of these if you are doing a more serious renovation - but for a extending an outlet in a basement with metal studs? Hell yes. Fast and no risk if you follow the basics. Hope someone doesn't try to discontinue... they tend to do things quicker stateside - my guess is that they will be made legal here for some applications in the future. The metal gangs are a pain-in-the-ass for small D-I-Y jobs, much easier these are. Recomended

I installed a receptacle behind my wall mounted tv using this electrical box. Just trace out a hole using the box as a template. Pull new wire from an existing plug. Installs very slick and solid into drywall. Very confident in this product.

Although this box was a bit late arriving it was exactly what I needed . It replaced the improperly installed electral box that was not attached to stud .
