I'm not sure if this is an issue with all the units but the fan on mine was too loud to be acceptable. I like the idea of cooling but there's got to be a quieter solution. Other than that, this unit uses high-quality plastics. It's the same enclosure as the Huawei car charger with a glossy front panel. It would be nice if it had vertical phone adjustability and the arms don't expand very far compared to other wireless car chargers that I've tried. Also, the motor for the arms is quite loud. Many of the competitors have small capacitors or batteries that allow the mount to open and close after it loses power, this one unfortunately doesn't have that feature.

Just find and ideal spot on the dash to stick the holder on, plug in the vent holder to it and you're all set. I hate when one of my ac vents is blocked and the holder prevents that. Or you have the option of clamping it to the vent, two choices. The charging is strong and it holds the phone well. Only gripe is it seems you have to take the phone off prior to turning off the engine or there is no power for the release mechanism, unless I missed something.

The speed is toooooooo slow... almost nothing come from the charger.

I love this product!

Charging speed is jaw dropping, very fast. It also holds the phone very well. I gave it away because it is too big for my liking and doesnt allow me to see other buttons on the dashboard. Other than that, this is a magnificent product
