What kind of wood are your paddles made out of?.......it doesn’t matter now.
Have not used this product yet, but while applying butcher block oil on the paddle before first use, I realized that the paddle was pieced together!!!When you advertise a stirring paddle to be 60” long and your find that it has been mortised together with glue, and not actually made out of one single piece of wood.......it is very disappointing!Is that called false advertisement ???I will not be purchasing any more stirring paddles from this company.I made this purchase as I was short on time prior to my next event, but I see that I will just have to make my own.

Purchased as a gift for my son to use while making Apple Pie Moonshine in a 20+ quart pot. It was PERFECT! Handle length was great. Sturdiness, lol, it’s probably 1/4” oak. It’s going to be a family heirloom.
