Good piece of kit. It will help start coals in fifteen to twentyminutes and get them glowing red, no fanning, no blowing. All you need is balls of lightly crushed up news papers in the bottom. You can start about 2kg coal peacefully. One thing to remember is the paint will come off during the first firing. The handle works well.

Nice product to ignite your coal early. I have just received it and not tried. The manual says to use ignition blocks below but i am going to try keeping it on gas stove directly. Not a very strong item(made in china ofcourse) but you get what you pay for.Update 1Tried it today and it worked nicely, just make sure to use only big normal coal pieces else it will fall down. Just used it directly on stove and coal was ready in 15 minutes which is great as it used to take me an hour on barbecue box directly. Keep a big pold plate while carrying it hot.

It is a great tool to lighten up your bbq quick without any hassle. It is discolored at places though but it is meant for rough and tough usage and not a show case, so doesn't bother me much. Put some papers underneath and charcoal does ablaze. Not a bad tool to invest considering all the effort that goes in lightening the bbq. The handle is wooden and doesn't heat up. And look at my modified packaging to store after the use 😍

Here is what I'd say, it is sold as a fire starter for grill and I'd say it's fine. But I also use this very thing as an indoor grill for a small get together with one or two friends when you don't want to do much in the cold out. It's comfortable to even sit by it indoors in the winter. It does warms the indoors if you just light it up and let it be or just sit by it and roast a few corn on the cobs. This could be carried from one room to another if you'd like to. Though I do have a grill, but since I have bought this the grill is becoming a bit redundant.This is just so versatile. Yes some people did say it's too light weight and the material used is also not heavy gauge.But I'd say to each their own.

Easy to use and clean

I am a pit master, this particular product is a very low quality build.It might work for people staying in a very less humid area, for me as I stay near coastal area, rust ate my starter in 1 week. My second week, that coal holder has completely come of now.This product is no use to me now.

Basically product is goodBut I received a DAMAGED oneNot very light or fragileBut yes it's paint will wron off in single use so I suggest to apply a layer of heat resistant paint over it to have it for a long run( To avoid peeling of paint and rusting )

It’s a pain to heat the charcoal. But this gizmo has made it so easy. In 15 mins you hot crispy red coal burning. Reduces your waiting time.At this price this is an amazing product. The handle also doesn’t heat up. I have used this twice. Will update my feedback after using a bit more. But till now I am satisfied
