Very reflective, yes; well made, yes; but not long or stretchy enough to fasten around an upper ankle area or upper arm without pulling free or the worry of pulling free. Likely a good fit for those a bit smaller in size or nice and slim among us.My intended use was to gather my trouser bottoms at my ankle for walking in the woods to insure against ticks, but this proved too much for the Velcro to securely hold at full stretch on my ankle, and would pop off rather than constrict with a tight hold.Like the Reflectivity, but a bit more stretch and a bit more Velcro would be perfect.

The arm bands would be more accurately called wrist bands. They are too small for use above the elbow - not even close for me at 6'1" 170lbs. They are comfortable on bare skin as ankle bands when running. I bought them for use as arm bands as the visibility is much higher than wrist bands. However, I can use them as ankle bands so will keep them. Reflectivity is very good and so is quality. Someone looking for reflective arm bands for small children would find these a good potential option.

I bought them for extra visibility on night runs. They are not 3M brand, tag on inside says Zivalo. Bands seem to alert oncoming traffic well, as cars seem to spot me sooner than without. I wear one around my right ankle and one around my right wrist. They are short and tight: fit best around ankles or wrists imo. Wouldn't recommend other areas, because the prickly velcro feels unpleasant against the skin or will slide off because of tightness and movement of running.

I do 90% or my cycling before sunrise. I put these on my ankles and right away I noticed cars giving me lots of room on the road. I use these along with the 3M Scotchlite Reflective Vest. Ride after ride I am left with at least a 1/2 lane or more from drivers, REALLY! Most drivers never did this while I was using only a very bright strobe tail light. I think drivers see the rapid movement of the reflectors WAY down the road and have more time to think. Needless to say, I am very pleased with my purchase. I've been a fan of 3M products and like always they never fail to impress me.

I walk a mile home every night and the streets are dark. I slide my fingers through them and then hold my tote bag strap. This way the reflector is almost in the middle of my chest and even if I stick my hand out, the reflector is wrapped around my hand.Sometimes these people are driving up the block really fast and even though they're coming up to a Stop sign, they just roll and go...they don't stop. I almost got hit twice this way and now I stick my hand out so they can see the reflector. Don't people know the definition of Stop!

Well, If you're going to use them on your arms. Don't worry, they won't fit. If you're using it on your ankles or wrists it will work perfectly. Even though they are really reflective and they're made of a good material (also comfortable) they're short and will not cover your arm completely.

Pros: Decent quality, approx. 10" L X 1 1/2" W, sufficiently reflective, elastic is suitably firm, Velcro grips tightly.Cons: Definitely not an armband since it will not fit around your biceps or upper arm unless you have bean pole arms that are less than 10" in circumference. It may fit around your ankles but this is definitely a wrist band an NOT an arm band.

I've lost count on how many times I've been almost hit by cars WHILE WALKING THROUGH A CROSSWALK. I bought 2 sets; 1 goes around each ankle and 1 goes around each wrist. Now cars see me in the crosswalk from at least a quarter mile away and stop well before the crosswalks. The few times I've forgotten to put them on, guess what? Almost hit again by cars that don't pay attention to pedestrians in the cross walk at stop signs. These could very well save your life.
