Excellent Replacment for lost/damaged original (and obsolete, unavailable) 2011 Samsung Remote
Our 2011 Samsung LED 50” flat-screen remote was damaged by water and no replacements available. :{But this unit was a Perfect replacment…. With the TV “off”…. install remote batteries… press the little Red “A” button (pairs the TV)….the TV indicator blinks Once…. Then press the remote “power on” button…and VOILA! We have a working television again!!! and only a $11 cost! (I’m thinking of ordering another to have on-hand just in case we get this one wet also! Happy happy, joy, joy…..

How to repair the cheap remote when it becomes non-responsive.
The media could not be loaded. The remote will work for about 6 to 9 months before likely having issues. This remote will need to be taken apart, cleaned and re-oiled. The manufacture is using oil to make contact, versus contacts on the rubber buttons. The oil becomes displaced or dirty and does not allow the remote to be responsive in a timely fashion. I just threw a TV away a couple of days ago because of a similar situation. Wish I had known this before I tossed the TV out. I was using a replacement remote from Amazon and likely was the culprit and not the TV. The remotes are cheap and that is that.
