I've been following Yan Schenkel (PicaPau) on Instagram for over five years, and I've bought her books in digital format. However, I really want to expand my craft library with physical books, and I love this one.The book comes with a soft cover and allows you to crochet her creatures even if you are a beginner. Loved the book! The colors, photography is amazing. I like easy step by step instructions with lots of pictures. I also appreciate that there are patterns for different skill levels, rated from 1 to 3 stars. Honestly, it is wonderful to see a handmade toy appear before my very eyes when it is finished, toys make my heart very happy.

Beautiful, easy to follow, distinct and very well written. Adorable friends to crochet 🧶. Interesting animals from the usual dog and cats. I love the colors this designer chooses. You'll want all three books she has written.

This book and the entire series are fantastic. Easy to understand and well written patterns that work up nicely.

Fantastic book! And clearly written. Each animal has a name and back story, which makes for some interesting creations! The artist also includes how to make stitches used throughout each pattern; the first chapter of the book shows pictures with stitch names on how to create them. They also explain methods on color change, which helped me since I've never attempted it in my crochet and it all lined up perfectly. The patterns also down size really well, I used scheepjes catona yarn and a 2.5mm hook, smaller than reccomended and it turned out very cute! The animals seemed daunting at first, lots of color changes and new stitches for me (with their clothes, color changes, and all) but I managed well with the author's descriptions! :)Reccomend this book to lots of amigurumi Makers.

The wife loves it so I love it. She now has all three and boy I tell you she’s made some really nice things out of them.

Amei as fotos e as explicações. Os pontos ensinados nos livros tem fotos um pouco distantes do detalhe importante, o que dificultou que eu aprendesse os pontos novos. As receitas são bem escritas, com muitas fotos para explicar cada passo. Além disso, cada receita tem um QR code que te dá acesso a uma página onde você encontra erratas e peças prontas de outros usuários. Os personagens são muito bonitinhos, tem histórias divertidas e cativantes.
