This is my second Poly-fly chair. It was purchased because I was very happy with my first chair. When I became confined to a chair over five years ago, I asked my insurer for a lightweight chair. They gave me one. It weighed 36 pounds. My wife had difficulty managing such a weight. Then we learned of the ultras-lights. Then we learned of the "convertible" models such as the Poly-fly. Without the self-propel wheels and the foot rests, the chair weighs a mere 14 pounds. That is a bowling-ball! The Boss can easily handle THAT! The self-propel wheels snap on and off at the push of a button. The chair is durable. We have gone Coast-to-Coast several times as well as many shorter flights, all with no problem. On certain occasions we simply leave the rig in "transport chair"ode. The chair is not perfect, but it beats anything else that I have tried. Like i said, I am a repeat customer.. Also, it is very favorably priced when compared to similar models from other manufacturers. All in all, it is a solid value that gets the job done - and well done, at that!
