Schiek Sports Platinum 3/4 Finger Wrist Wrap Lifting Gloves - Black/Gray

I am a huge fan of these Schiek 540 lifting/workout gloves and just received my third pair from Amazon after wearing out the other two in a span of eight years. Not a bad investment for someone who works out about five times a week. The quality of the materials used are top notch and the fit is perfect after a brief break-in period of a few days. The wrist support is also stellar without being too wide to restrict movement as I’ve noticed in another brand I tried and promptly returned. These are truly a “Pro-Grade” quality product for the serious lifter, and nothing like the cheaper consumer gloves you find hanging in the big-box sporting goods stores.A couple suggestions. Get a size that is a little snug and definitely not loose, as these will conform to your hand with use. If you’re a Prime member, order a pair only after measuring your hand and return if you need a bigger or smaller size. Secondly, remember the size that works for you. I had unfortunately lost my original packaging and cut out the size tag on the interior lining of the glove and had forgotten. Luckily the posted measurements worked fine, but just a heads up!

I recently made the switch to this brand after being blown away by their leather lifting belts. I own both styles of gloves now as well and to be honest this is my least favorite of the two. I find the wrist support to be really good and keeps my wrists safe during heavy dips/flat bench. However, I find that the gel support in the palm is just too much. It makes it difficult to grip the weights when doing anything aside from pushing exercises. I am hoping they will break in and be useful all around and if so I will update this review. My conclusion is that I cannot recommend these for anything other than pushing movements but if you are ok with that then they are great. Also, they are said to be washable although I have not tested that out as of yet.

I have been working out for 18 years and these are the best gloves I have ever used. They are comfortable and the wrist wrap is perfect. I usually fit XL gloves in everything else, but these run a little big, so just keep that in mind. They are also made in the USA which is a big plus for me. I know they are pricey but they are worth it. I had another brand's gloves that start with H and they only lasted 3 years. You can tell these are high quality and will last a while.

Been lifting heavy free weights for 25 years. I’ve gone thru many, many gloves thru the years. The palm padding is a little thick. Very good for pressing movements. Curling motions tend to want to ride towards your fingers, but these things are solid. Very solid, very good stitching, with thick leather. Get them and you won’t be disappointed. Ordered a pair from another manufacturer. They looked good, cool, and solid. But as soon as I opened them, I knew for a fact, they would not last more than a month. Sent them right back and kept looking. I read a good review on theseSchiek Sports 540 Platinum that sounded legit. These will last a long time. Get them, seriously, they are worthy.

I am writing this review after 2 months of ownership. I've noticed a lot of reviews on Amazon are made immediately after the product is received which is misleading.These gloves are fantastic. After two months of heavy use (5x a week, ehavy lifting), they are still perfect. Before these i had similarly styled Harbinger brand gloves with the wrist straps and those were complete garbage that broke apart after a month and got an awful odor. These Schiek gloves are comfortable, they don't stain your clothing or skin in black ink (this was a problem with the Harbingers as well) and they don't stink. Worth every penny plus they have a one year warranty on them also.

This is my second pair of Schiek gloves, and I've been very happy with both purchases. I've had a couple of other brands, but I like the Schieks because they have design features that make them a pleasure to use right out of the box. The "fins" things that run along each finger don't seem like a big deal, but once you get used to how easy they make it to get your gloves off after a workout, you'll find you miss them in other gloves. The man-made material they use makes the gloves smell like a new tire. :-) But they also are less likely to smell in the usual way after many workouts. They also don't shrink, and are easier to take care of (machine wash). Schiek claims that they won't bleed black dye onto your hands. That hasn't been totally true for me, but the small amount you get after a sweaty workout is nothing compared with the black/purple ink stains you get with leather gloves (and it takes a long long time for that to stop happening). All in all I strongly recommend them. Note, the picture for the Schiek 540 X-Large gloves is wrong ... they're not tan/black, they're black/black.

best lifting gloves, finally got another pair of the same ones many many years, the velcro was finally starting to go on the old pair after forever. highly recommend, great fit, function and stitching never came undone, infact old gloves are still fine really, just the velcro was going.

These are my favorite lifting gloves and this is my 4th set! The long wrist wrapping strap gives my wrist that was damaged in an accident the support I need. The finger fins make it very easy to remove the gloves and they kinda make you look like Wolverine...lol. All in all,a great product.

Nach nun fast 8 Jahren war es an der Zeit mein altes Paar Schiek Handschuhe zu ersetzen. Sie hatten sehr gute Dienste geleistet. Vorher benutzte ich preislich günstigere und hatte immer Probleme mit Schwielen, Hornhaut und rauhen Händen. Die von Schiek jedochvsind absolut super, festes Leder, guter Halt, in meinem Fall mit Bandage fürs Handgelenk. Mehr Qualität fürs Geld habe ich nirgends finden können. Wie gesagt, 8 Jahre, 5 Tage die Woche...

Die Handschuhe halten was sie versprechen. Nach vielen Jahren sind meine "Shawn Ray Muscleblast" Handschuhe kaputt gegangen. Ich hatte ein paar "China Kracher" bestellt und zurück geschickt da diese sicher gute Fitness Handschuhe sind aber für richtigen Kraftsport komplett ungeeignet sind.Die Schiek Mod. 540 sitzen gut und sowohl Polsterung als auch der Handgelenkschutz erfüllen ihren Zweck. Ich habe bei 140kg Bankdrücken ein sehr gutes Gefühl mit den Handschuhen gehabt und wurde nicht von der Konzentration auf die Brust abgelenkt. Nach etlichen Enttäuschungen endlich wieder ein Handschuh der mich nicht von dem wesentlichen ablenkt. Wer billig kauft, kauft 2x.

I used this training gloves almost 10 years ago and I could not find them in local stores so I tried other brands and definitely was not the same. When I finally sow it in amazon I certainly went for them!They are great. Very confortable and definitely do their work. Very easy to put them on and to take them off as well. I have big hands and fit very well on my hands.Wonderful choice for hard core training people!

Great gloves...great support. Will seem a little thick in the palm of the glove until broken in but still my favorite gloves I have ever used....and I have been lifting for 30 some years.
