Sharp edges removed
Does the job. Very easy to use, no concern about causing further chipping. The surface is rough/frosted when done, not clear or shiny -- it's designed to remove sharp edges, not polish. There are separate polishing kits you can buy.

Wasn't sure what I needed to smooth out some glassware seams, so I bought this. It's OK, but there are similar (cheaper) items with cheap diamond structures that would do the same job.

Saved Us a Huge Expense
We had a corner of our glass dining room table top damaged in a recent move. The glass is very thick and very large, so not replaceable without great expense.I was amazed how the Crystal File smoothed the sharp edges and corner with little effort.Everyone should have one of these in their tool box.

Works very well to "save" those delicate, chipped wine glasses and other glass items that happen to get "clinked" together when in use or in washing. No sharp areas!
