Have bought several times. They are packaged well and are a good quality. Used for art prints that I sell. Having a full set for packaging is really nice and easy.

Good quality, acid free, mats are cut perfectly, heavy weight, beautiful clean white. Backing boards are heavy weight and precise cut. Clear bag is perfect. My artwork shows looks beautiful set in the mat kits. I'm sure my artwork will sell at the art fairs.

I've purchased sets of mats from other sources (like eBay) and had mixed results with the quality. While some sellers seem to be using scraps of leftover matboard, these seem to be cut from the same consistent source. I've also had trouble with other sellers using imprecise cutting methods; they seem to be cutting by hand and rapidly at that. These were all clean-cut and even. The other nice thing about this set is that it includes everything that you need to make a good presentation; no need to buy a huge pack of plastic sleeves or a bunch of matboard for backing: it's all included with exactly the amount that you need. The result is that it's easy to make your artwork look very professional and sellable without investing a huge amount of money. Something that may be good to include or offer as an extra would be adhesive hanging tabs. I've been trying to figure out an easy, inexpensive, and effective way to hang matted (but not yet framed) artwork while in these sleeves. (One small complaint is that a couple of my mats seemed to have water damage, but I did not ding the seller for this because I can't say whether is happened before or after they arrived. I had them sitting in the box they were shipped to me in, but weeks had passed by the time I noticed so I can't pinpoint the cause. I haven't seen anyone else complain about this so it may have been my fault.) Overall, I will buy these again.

I am an artist and I use these backing boards any time I am selling prints at a market, or shipping originals to clients. They are very sturdy and have a clean and sharp appearance, giving a polished and professional finish to my work. When I ship an original painting, I place the artwork and one of these boards into a cellophane sleeve, then mail it in a rigid mailer, giving me peace of mind as it travels to its new home. Highly recommend.

I'm an officer with the local art organization and we do a fair number of shows each year. This means my photography, painting, and cyanotype work are often out in bins at these shows to be pawed through by prospective buyers. These mats are AWESOME. I actively recommend them to everyone in our organization. I have sold countless bin art items using these mats. The quality is great. The bags hold up to the regular use. The mat and backing is sturdy and looks quite professional. I've had to rebuy more mats numerous times now - so they are definitely selling. The buyers are quite pleased with what they are getting. And the low cost means I can price things to sell at "town common festivals" and other places where pricey items wouldn't get much traction. Highly recommended. A note for those who are new to matting their works. If a mat is designed for a 5x7 print THE HOLE IS SMALLER THAN 5x7!!!! Otherwise you would see the edges of the print (or painting or whatever) at the edges. There is always, always, an overlap with a mat, which is the way a mat is supposed to work. So you always want, when you take or crop your photo, to account for that. There is always going to be a margin covered up on all four sides so that the mat sits properly over the work of art. Ask with any questions!

We ordered two packages for my kids to mount their photos for fair. The ones that came undamaged worked great. However they were just in an unpadded envelope that had gotten beaten in shipping. A quarter of them were damaged beyond use.

I've purchased clear bags of varying sizes from GSA before, and have always been satisfied with the quality of the products. This was the first time I've purchased these packs of pre-cut mat boards, backing boards, and sleeves, and I was not disappointed! The order arrived in a timely fashion, and I was immediately impressed with the way the items were shipped: in a sturdy, flip-top cardboard box, which prevented any damage to the mat corners (always a concern). The mats were securely wrapped in clear film, and the clear bags were of better quality than others I've bought in the past. The mats themselves did not have any over-cuts or other damage, and were sized correctly for a 5x7 piece of art or photo. I used some thin (1/4" wide), double-sided acid-free tape sections (also purchased on Amazon) to adhere the mat board to the backing board, after first using acid-free framer's tape to secure the artwork to the mat. These sets are a really convenient way to offer original art, prints or photography to your customers so that they can easily pop them in widely-available, standard sized frames and avoid the absurdly overpriced frame shop prices. I matted up 16 originals to (hopefully) sell over the Xmas holiday season at the local shop I have my work in, since my similarly-packaged ACEO originals have sold really well. Will definitely buy again once I've sold most of these.

The bevel cut edges are as I had hoped for. The mats are sturdy and it's nice to have backboards and cello sleeves for presentation of my art. I use these for my paintings for art pop up markets. I will order these again.
