So Cute It Hurts!!, Vol. 1

When Mitsuru is in danger of failing his classes in the all boys school he attends he makes his twin sister swap places with him. Life isn't so much a breeze pretending to be a girl in a co-ed school as he thought as he comes to terms with the concept of Mean Girls and finding someone who might be his true soul mate. While the class work is no problem for Meg life isn't much easier as dressed like a guy she has to hide her feelings to the soul mate of her own she meets in her brothers school. At romantic comedy dealing with true love and the meaning of true friendship.

I started reading this because I wanted to watch the OVA, I like Ono Daisuke, who is one of the voice actors in the series. I am also one who reads stories about individuals who are deaf, and one of the characters uses sign language. I know SEE and ASL, but not Japanese signs, which I have picked up a few from this and A Silent Voice. This series is predictable, but is cute for someone looking for something to keep them busy for an hour or so. It's written quickly, so it didn't take an hour to read, but the three of them together did. I will continue to see where the characters go.

So Cute It Hurts is probably most easily described as something you'd expect out of a shoujo beat series, with the strangely convenient attraction, coincidences abound, and oddly normal school setting and reasonably simple plot. But if that's what you came for, then you will be satisfied with this series.Without divulging plot points, this volume introduces characters, but leaves details concerning relationships between characters for the next volume (though the clues are probably enough to fill in most readers).

IT IS SO CUTE IT HURTS! I love this manga series! I started reading right after this volume came out and the storyline is cute, funny, and carries major feels within it. I definitely recommend this to everyone who likes romance, gender-bender, or comedy because this will make you so happy!!!!!

This manga has such a cute story. I love gender bender manga so this fits right up my alley. The characters are all lovable and the art style is adorable. The story basically is off two twins switching places at school. While at the other twin's school, they fall in love. And, that's where all the antics begin. I definitely recommend this manga to anyone who really likes slice of life/romance/ gender bender. It is a good read and will leave you with warm fuzzies in your heart. ^_^

This is a cute story with mild humor. I enjoyed reading it and can't wait to start the next volume.

It really is super cute - breezily well drawn and with a cheeky style that's easy to love. Body swap style comedy with a touch of real heart. If you like school hi jinks and love triangles then this manga is for you for sure.

I loved the amount of different expressions in this manga love stories can be so varied or so cute it hurts sorry had to try that one as its the series title
