Folligen Emu Oil For Healthy Hair

I only purchase products for hair loss prevention and regrowth based upon clinical studies. Emu oil appears to have enough evidence to tentatively support its use for both hair and skin health, so I decided to go ahead and add this to my Folligen Spray purchase. Seeing as it's my first experience with emu oil, I can't compare it to any other brands. It's easy to apply and actually makes my hair look pretty decent. Unfortunately, I could never wear it out in public (I did once) because of the chicken fat smell. The smell is off-putting to me even when I put it on at night, especially when combined with the copper smell of the Folligen spray. It's a small price to pay if it really works.I was using it every three or four nights when I started out along with the Folligen, but cut down because it was running out quicker than the spray, and I can't afford to purchase both again right now. I honestly can't say whether it's contributed to any regrowth or thickening (for that matter, I can't say whether minoxidil or finasteride have, because I only started my regimen this past summer). I'm going to keep using it until it runs out and then probably purchase another brand just to be able to compare them. I've read that some don't have that characteristic odor, but it seems unlikely given that emu oil smells like... emu oil. If I could use this as a styling product along with the minoxidil foam and Folligen copper peptide spray, I would. The only drawback is that it makes your hair look greasy. But also pretty stylish.

I bought this for my mom and she loves it. It has really helped grow her hair back and it also made it soft.

I put this on in the evening and leave it in for the night once a week. Hair feels softer and easier to manage.

I don't really know how to rate this. No directions were provided about how to use this product, no timeline to let me know when I should start seeing any progress in hair growth. I don't know how often to use it or how long it is to stay on my scalp.

I bought Emu Because I read an article that it was good to regrow hair. My hair was getting very thin in the top. I have been using Emu Folligen for about a month and my hair has started to grow back. I am very happy with the results.

Makes my hair dry and difficult to style when applied the night before despite washing them in the morning. Does not add shine as I would expected from the product like this. Somehow low quality oil. Will never buy again

Smells like kitchen oil after fry fry pork chops

I really like this product. I used it with my leave-in conditioner for my hair and I lobe the way my hair stays moisturized all day. This is a definite staple in my hair regime.
