Looks are deceiving. Cheap thin plastic
Didn't read product description. If I had I would have never ordered because it's a piece of plastic globe and the base reminded me of a cheap plastic toy. No I wouldn't give this as a gift unless it was a kid. Very disappointed. In the last couple of months I have brought 4 of theses 2 of the same one for myself 1 as a gift. Round and oval. Thisone I will be sending back. Pretty but nothing but cheap plastic. They make wonderful gift, and I loved the others but again I wouldn't keep or buy this for myself and wouldn't buy this piece of plastic for gift. Thanks will pay better attention to the description next time. And it was going to be a Christmas gift.
