This bag is top notch. I searched for a long time to find the right bag for me and this hit the mark in every way. I recently switched from a Swiss army bag (actually the last two backpacks over 8 years have been swiss). This bag is superior in every way - it's stylish, it suits my purposes, it's comfortable. Although I would say that there is less versatility in pocket size and use than the swiss bag, I barely used all those pockets anyways. What you get for this bag is the essential utility of a backpack (small odds-ends pocket, cup pockets, laptop sleeve, main compartment) plus the sturdiness and good looks of leather on canvas.PROS:1. It's sturdy as all get-out. The leather is high quality, and the construction is great. The zippers are durable and robust. You can tell it's been treated to be water resistant (I wouldn't want to be out in the rain for too long, but I wouldn't be worried about my items inside getting wet). I will certainly be using this for hiking as well as on campus.2. The size is perfect. I can fit my laptop, a large binder, and several books in the bag. I am a graduate student in three classes this semester - I am able to fit everything I need for all three classes comfortably in the bag. In addition to my books, I am able to fit a 750ml water bottle and a travel-coffee mug in the side pockets. For odds and ends, there is a little pouch to place all the small and loose stuff.3. Speaking of comfortable... The bag feels really nice on my shoulders. The little bit of memory foam in the straps makes a real difference.4. The customer service of this seller is top notch.CONS:1. This is NOT a zip-up bag. It takes a slight bit more effort to get the straps pulled and magnetized. If you want the ease of a zipper, this is not the bag for you... However, what you get instead of the zipper is a super sleek, totally cool leather accented bag. If you're into looking like a total boss on campus or around town, this bag is so worth it.I'm giving this bag 5-stars, well deserved.

I like it. The quality seems good and it has a nice style. One note, however, the images on the product page make it look a bit like the leather has a blue tint. It's more of a chocolate brown. Not a bad thing, but the color wasn't exactly like what I thought when I ordered it.

I bought this backpack because I like the look of it. It is very durable. Doesn’t seem like it will rip easily at all. Not sure if it is waterproof because I haven’t used it in the rain. Shoulder straps are very comfortable. Reminds me of a pair of jeans. A little stiff at first but will loosen up over time. Side pockets are tight so will need to use a small water bottle. So far I’m happy with purchase.

I had to leave it when I left my last duty station. Regret it. It’s a little rough but it’s just so cool tbh. Very durable. The leathers real and super thick. Would recommend waterproofing spray and leather soap and stuff. Buckes are flimsy tho. Basically tin can quality. Just bend em if they get bent (and they will)

I wanted to love this backpack. I did until it broke. I needed a bag for work, and traveling via public transport wanted something that was sturdy and waterproof. This bag fit the bill. However, after carrying it for a little over a week, 2 of the snap closures fell off. I can't close either the overlying flap or the left-side pocket. It's really unfortunate because this is a great bag otherwise. If the snaps had fallen off where I could find them, I'd probably try to re-attach them. I would love to give this 4 stars because of the quality of the canvas and leather, and the nice padded laptop pocket inside; but, instead it gets 2 - a bag that doesn't close is useless.Update: I've added photographs so that you can see which snap closures fell off.Update: The company contacted me about the broken bag and offered to help me fix it. I asked for a return instead, and they agreed to send me a new bag and I could keep the old one. I love this bag, so I'll be keeping both of them. If the bag has to break, at least there is decent customer service.

My backpack arrived yesterday and I was very excited to open the package and take a look at it. I had purchased this backpack to replace an older bag that was too small and only had one large pocket. As I unwrapped the piece and took in the craftsmanship, I was a little taken aback by the fastener choice. The strong canvas accented by the beautiful brown leather was diminished by the Velcro used to close the main and side pockets. This design choice unfortunately made the entire piece feel a bit cheap to me. Other than this one subjective flaw, I really like this bag. I'm looking forward to using this bag on my commutes and I'm sure it will last for several years. I will however be taking it to have ring snaps installed. I think that adopting this fastener might be a good idea.

This is a very good looking and seemingly well built bag. The only complaint I have is the magnet connections are very weak and don’t stay connected. They would have been much better if the were snaps. I am sure that it will last a long time. I just don’t like that the flap opens so easily.

Beautiful bag! I've been using the same backpack for over 6 years now and after many repairs my rabbit finally chewed a huge hole in it. I walk everywhere and go hiking lots so I need a roomey backpack. This bag is stunning, good quality and comfy to wear ! It fits everything I need it to easily! Right now I have it stuffed with a blanket, 3 sweaters, 3 shirts and 4 pairs of socks to get the wrinkles out which might give you an idea of how much it holds :))

I purchased the matching duffle bag in January 2020 for my husband and he loves it and uses it frequently for business travel. He continues to rave about it and so I ordered the backpack. Just had it delivered and I am not disappointed! It’s strong, rugged and looks so good. Can’t wait for my husband to open it on Christmas Day.

I'm really pleased with my purchase! The materials used are seemingly high quality. I just wish the straps for the buckles were sewn in instead of being held on by magnets but that not a big deal for me personally.
