i love this cookbook i purchased it for granddaughter for part of her Christmas gifts it is old world Mexican receipts hard to find authentic ones now days i like original Mexican traditional ones and the price was great also

Received in excellent condition.

So this book is very great with history facts. However not truly authentic food. My husband whose Mexican said book is okay but not really authentic, prefer to get another book not this one.

Very good instructions and recipes!

Even gives you little mini lessons on the different types of fruits and veggies, the recipes look amazing and the book has pictures for the different steps in each recipe. Descriptions of each recipe or a special fruit or vegetable used in a recipe along with substitutions...you just can't go wrong...You can practically taste the recipes before they are even prepared!

Recipes look ok and easy but they are not authentic.
