Gino can be accused of trying too hard, working too hard, and as a damn proud Italian, admitting he's a fish out of water when he's outside of his home region, and learning along with those he is sharing with. His curiosity, and insight show through in highlighting the regional flavors in the recipes, with respect to balance. It's a must for Italophiles, that lack a Nonna in every region.

Everything he did to bring this book to us is worth the effort.

I’ve made several recipes from this book and am very pleased with the outcome.

I can confirm, he has not in fact hidden Italy. It is still right there, on the map and in physical presence.However, this is a good cook book and my newly independent daughter is enjoying trying her hand in her kitchen with these recipes.

I have a lot of cookbooks and, generally speaking, only about 10-30% of the recipes in any book appeal to my family. This book is the opposite and there are only a couple of recipes that I probably won’t try.The salads, sides, mains and desserts all appeal to me, and most appeal to my children and husband.One of my favourite purchases from Amazon.

Delicious recipes which suits everyone's taste be it meat, fish and vegetarian options and could easily substitute to preference. But straight forward easy recipes which won't break the bank to make, a good selection of savoury and sweet dishes that could be made everyday or when entertaining.

Some nice Italian easy to follow and great tasting recipes but also some terrible recipes but well worth the money for the good recipes in there

For any lover of cooking this book has a great range of recipes and so typically Italian, full of taste and colour. Truly with a huge dash of Gino's flamboyant style! As always book arrived in perfect condition and by the delivery date.
