I specifically purchased the "Planters Nut 24 Count-Variety Pack." As a value shopper, normally I would get items in a big single container since you would get more bang for your buck that way. But since I can literally wipe out an entire 1lb container of peanuts myself (it's happened before!), that was too dangerous a proposition. So I went with the individually wrapped variety pack for the portion control and the variety (duh!).It comes with 6 packs of salted cashews, 12 packs of salted peanuts, and 6 of my absolute favorite, the honey roasted peanuts. Since taste is subjective, I won't comment on that. However, the product was fresh in good quality as expected by Planters.Since this product allows me to add it to my Amazon Subscribe & Save and it's something I regularly eat anyways, I was able to save even more on the peanuts (especially for individually wrapped packs!). If you want to get some protein while having a tasty snack (with the variety!) you can't go wrong with this. I just have to be good and try not to reach for another pack after I finish one. ha!

Very happy with these. Although I didn't look for the expiration date, we tried a few and they were fresh and delicious! These are the perfect size for carrying with you, either as a healthy protein packed snack during the day or, as in our case, for long road trips and short day hikes. In addition to the protein and healthy fat, the peanuts provide 4g of fiber in that little package, along with a good amount of potassium (and sodium) and a little iron (15%) to boot which I didn't realize until I checked out the nutritional label. That was nice to discover. The price was certainly reasonable, the box arrived perfectly in tact and good condition and, as I mentioned, the nuts tasted fresh and yummy. I will certainly recommend this purchase to friends and family, and will restock when our current supply runs out.

I purchased these on Amazon for $7.73. Received 24 snack sized package assortment including 12-1.75 oz. peanuts, 6-1.75 oz. honey roasted peanuts, and 6-1.5 oz. cashews. This is an excellent value considering that you pay almost $1 for a single pack if purchased from a vendor. The nuts are fresh and of excellent quality. Their freshness date on the packs I received is 8 months in the future. A good idea for school lunches, church events, camping trips, travel, and picnics. This was a good purchase and highly recommended.Caution: There is a warning banner on the package stating "Do not give nuts to children under 4".

Okay variety pack. The salted peanuts and cashews tastes as you expect. The honey roasted peanuts flavor is a bit overpowering though and the weakest in the pack (in my personal opinion, others may disagree). Also the honey roasted peanuts in the only bag that isn't transparent.I do not like how the "Tear Here" release tab is vertical instead of horizontal. Some times when you tear it, there's a tiny hole where the peanuts or cashews cannot go through optimally, so you have to stick your pinky in to expand the hole.I like how the expiration date is posted in each individual bag, just in case you lose the box or plan to sell it at retail.There's a hole punch near the top, making it good for retail sale also.Good for on-the-go, or a packed snack for children's lunchbox. Cheaper if you buy it in bulk instead of individually packed bags, but good to pay extra for convenience at timesOverall, aside from the honey roasted peanuts being to strong and the bad angle of the tear tab, it's a good variety pack.

These are great to keep stashed for when hunger hits & you cannot accomplish another thing until you feed it. The individual packs make it easy to keep some in the car and in my purse without the fear of them opening and dumping out. (That has happened to snacks I had in zip style plastic bag inside my purse.) I also think nuts, like snack chips, taste best right after opening- then they lose that freshness soon after. By the next day, regardless of how I store them, they seem stale.Buying the box of 24 is way more economical than picking them up individually in convenience stores. I can't stand cashews personally, which pleases my husband because he knows he can have them all. If someone could figure out how to grow lower calorie nuts, the world would be a better place, but for now I will enjoy these, in moderation.

I like having a small snack instead of large meals. I find these super easy to grab in order to get me through the day. Buying in bulk is also reassuring and less expensive.

Great little snack, my family and I love the varieties. Just the right amount per pack.

These Planters peanuts variety pack are just the thing we need for lunch boxes, snacks to go, and snacks at home. My kids love being able to grab one of these whenever they're hungry or to back in their lunch box. My favorite is the cashews. I only wish they had an equal number of each flavor. They currently contain 6 Salted Cashews, 12 Salted Peanuts, and 6 Honey Roasted Peanuts. It would also be nice to have some "unsalted" or "lightly salted" varieties included. We continue to purchase these on a regular basis in our household because they are that popular! :-)
