This little thing is useful. I don’t like bulky things, and I don’t like clutter. This tiny thing takes up little space.Since I think outside of the box, I found this useful on my kitchen vent. I place my phone on it and use my phone while I cook. True story: I used to put my phone on random objects like my wired fruit basket, but it always leaned at an angle.This little guy sits on my vent, basically blends in haha... it has a spot for the tip of the charger to sit to keep it close, I find it handy.The only downside is, it is meant for the phone to sit in the slot. I have an iPhone 8 Plus with a screen protecter on it. It is too thick for the phone to sit WITHOUT a case, and WITH screen protector.However...For all of you pop sockets users, this is a win! It’s a perfect stand for my phone, with my pop socket sitting in the place where the phone is meant to go.No more makeshift fruit basket holding my phone haha.

I've only had these mounts in my cars ('07 Honda Element and '13 Volvo S60) but so far so good! I didn't notice that there's a little clasp to hold the charging cord which is a nice convenient thing. They work with my iPhone XR with no case and my wife's with a thin case, though it probably couldn't handle much more. Very simple but what else do you need?

This cell phone holder is pretty human sense, very good to use, when it depends on what kind of car you have, if your dashboard doesn’t closed to AC, it probably overheats but if not, this is an amazing product for you!

I gave Five Stars because I couldn't use them. I contacted the merchant for a refund. The merchant told me that it was gravity decompression. I had to jam my mobile phone in. I tried to fix it well while traveling.

Using it in my car

The base is a hard plastic with rubber upper phone grips. Once mounted it will swivel.

I bought a holder where it stick in vent and close to steer wheel, So hard to operate wipe blades ,but this solve this problem,also easy to see the navigation
