Will reduce airflow but you'll never smell gas fumes again
This is a must for any model 3. You'll never smell gas fumes again with this installed.

Poor instructions, decent fit
Proper placement is obvious once you look at it closely, but better instructions would be nice. Fit is decent. Function is appropriate. Price is right.

Worth the money!
Filter for air intake is super easy to install, but might be too much filtration for some, because it limits the A/C output just a bit. The filters were a bit difficult to install in the cabin due to their thickness, but once in the right spot, they filter the air very well. Definitely worth the money & time spent installing. I'd def recommend them!

Do not buy this
Do not buy this. This filter will restrict your cabin airflow by 80+%. I was getting nearly no cabin heat with this filter in place. The filter also gets wet where it is located which is not good for obvious reasons. The HVAC system is simply not designed to accommodate this filter. Save your money and don't buy it.

Indispensable.
Must have if you wish to breathe clean intake air. Mine after 3-4mons comes out black of soot and dirt/dust. If not caught, you would be breathing it in or all that getting lodged somewhere in vents that will probably end up causing mold and mildew.

It doesn't fit to my Model 3 2020
The filter is a little bigger and I don't think the shape of air intake is not perfect rectangular to match the filter. I had to squeeze the corner in and I'm not sure if it's going to stay in. We will see in few month.

Powerful filter, may be too much
When I install, I need to push additional a bit at both end downwards in order to ensure there is no air gap from the sides. So after installation, it is not straightly flat. Also, after installation, the air intake power are significantly reduced. I used "auto" setting before, which is a power unit of 4. But now, I need to turn to manual control to set between 8-10. As a result, air blowing noise is newly introduced. In future, I may punch a needle size holes at the one side of the filter to increase air flow. Since it is a new layer of filter instead of replacement, I suspect a bit of holes may still better as additional filtering with a balance of air flow.Update: I peeled off the top filter cover to increase air flow. It does help a bit. I can turn down the fan from 8 to 6. The root problem to me as I am still not happy after this mod. I lost the "Auto" feature in my model 3. Let's say it is under the sun for a while, if I use "Auto" mode, it will spin up to get cold air quickly. But now, I need to turn from "manual" 6 to 8 in order to get temperature cool down quicker. It is so old school experience, so mismatch with other Model 3 experience.
