Driven to buy them, because...
Pardon the poor ad-hoc writing of this review, I just had to stop in and say I've used these a few days now and love 'em. The lid for the largest pan is SUPERB! It has a little air vent built in that is just wonderful for simmering. (I'll put up a stove top picture later.)The reason I bought these is they aren't Teflon. I have to admit my wife complained "why did you buy those, we have lots of pans" and I pointed out that part of my skin condition sounds like problems identified by this Jan 10th NYTIMES article about Dupont [...]. She then turned to me and said "YOU'RE they one that wanted all that non-stick cookware when we got married!" Meh! Sounds like culpable deniability.Well, I am on a mission to get healthier and am on day three of my low carb diet to lose a few pounds. Thank the gods, butter is low-carb! :D

Make your own informed decision
I give these 4 stars even though I love them. The non-stick aspect of them is the best I have seen. But the manufacturer really needs to address their QA issue on the handles, or these will get a bad rap, and they really shouldn't be.The handles do have issues staying on, and I did add lock-tight (Medium strength, non-permanent).When they leave the factory, the hole that the handle screw goes into, has not been fully cleaned. On one of my pans, it was so clogged, I had to shorten the screw to get it to go all the way in. Good thing I have a metal shop in the garage, so I could cut if off, ground off the burrs, then cleared the threads. A typical household can't do that.On the large pan, I put the screw in, and it seated very well, but still came loose after a few days. When I opened it up, I found some of the debris from the manufacturing process had broken loose (see the attached picture), making the screw loose again. I cleaned it up, add more thread locker, and it is holding again.Would I buy them again? Yes! But will you, knowing this? Maybe, maybe not. This issue really should be addressed by the manufacturer. I only hope they are reading the reviews of their product. So anyway, you have been warned, and can make an informed decision for yourself. Good luck!

These can be dangerous!
I should have payed attention to the reviews relating to the screws. I sent these back as soon as I opened them and attempted to assemble the handles to the pans. The part that concerns me is that what if you are moving a hot liquid such as bacon grease from the stove to the counter top and the handle comes off? I sometimes have my dogs underfoot in the kitchen just as some of you may have kids near you. Its scary to think of what could happen from a simple quality issue with the pans that the manufacturer is not addressing. The screws are TOO SHORT to firmly attach to the pans.

Functional, but turn ugly quickly
These are functional enough, but the handles come loose frequently and have to be tightened up. The pans come unassembled and there is a plastic piece between the pan and the handle that is supposed to look like chrome, but it's not. These pieces burn and DO NOT come clean. These plastic pieces are "burnt" brown and the pans now look unclean despite my hand scrubbing every time I use them. I have had them for 5 months and they are ugly!

Fasteners inadequate
The skillet portion works very well. The handle assembly does not. Assembly is required via a machine screw (fastener), thru the handle and a trim piece. The fastener repeatedly loosens - thus a loose handle - very frustrating. I tried many methods (extra washers, etc) to tighten the fastener/handle. I gave up and sent the skillets back. I re-ordered skillets with factory fixed handles and am hoping they work!

Absolutely the best pans we've ever had
Absolutely the best pans we've ever had. Cooked scrambled eggs in it without any non-stick spray or butter and nothing stuck to the pan. Then the pans wiped clean afterward.

Actual non stick performance
Absolutely love them. I cook eggs and fry chesse without a single drop of oil, no sticking!!!I've looked for true no stick for a long time and these pans are the best I've come across. I especially like the fact that there aren't rivets on the inside of the pan. I give them 4 stars because the mounting hardware for the handles needs to be tightened ever 3-4 uses. I think earlier reviews recommend lock tight. Love them!!!

Want more but price almost doubled =)
Love these things. Easy to clean. I only use wood or silicone utensils and have zero problems with scratching. Simple. Dont use anything harder then the surface youre using. No scratches.
