poor quality control
The frames and concept are fine - problem for me was the individual frames were shrink wrapped prior to the manufacturer adding the little rope cord - they actually screw the cord on to the back of the frame that's already been shrink wrapped - so you have to either unscrew the cord to unwrap the frames and the cord isn't strong or substantial enough to be removed and then reattached (I know because one of the screws fell out without me even touching it) or try and pull the plastic off from underneath the cords that are screwed into the frame - does that make sense? SO, you will have little pieces of plastic sticking out from the screws when you remove the plastic - i ended up using an exact-o knife just to get the plastic off without having to unscrew the rope, a lot of work just to be able to access the frame...

Pleased in the end.
These look very nice on the wall after you try to fix the frayed rope at the ends, I actually used museum putty on the bottom of the backs to hide the fraying part of the rope because that part is hidden anyway when hanging. Packaging is horrible you have to actually loosen the screws on the back to get it all off and I carefully used a tweezer to pull pieces out. Whoever heard of putting the clear packaging on first then the screws?? It took me about a half hour each frame to remove all of the packing without damaging the frames and had to remove a few screws completely to get it off, this was just so odd in my opinion. If I hadn't needed something like this badly for my 6 4x6 photos I definitely would have returned them. After all of the unnecessary labor I put into getting them opened and fixing the frayed rope on one of them I am very pleased at the way they look hanging up.

OK, but not what I expected for the price...
These frame sets (3 vertical frames hanging on rope, 2 sets) are OK, and look nice with my pictures in them, but are not as sturdy and good quality as I expected for $30. Also, the packaging is ridiculous...the frames are individually wrapped and then the rope hanger is screwed right in over the plastic wrap, and it was quite a task getting the wrapping off the frames...there are still little bits of plastic wrap stuck near the screws! I wouldn't buy them again, but too much hassle to return them. Maybe I'll decorate them with hot glue and some embellishments, because they are rather plain-looking, and I was going to give them as gifts to out-of-town relatives.

Great buy
Super cute and goes with my farmhouse/rustic living room decor. I had seen a review saying the packaging was a bit much and I found that it was a little frustrating because the plastic seemed to be underneath the nails and had to be careful so it wouldn’t rip the nails out. Other than that super cute and worth the price.

Set is very nice. Hangs well and gives a nice look against a colored wall. Purchased as a gift.

Plastic packaging is tough
This was a great purchase for a gift for a guy friend. Looks great on his wall but it was a hassle to get there packaging open. The plastic wrap was under the screws and when he took off the plastic, it caused one of the screws to pull through and break one of the frames. We glued it to fix it but still upset that it broke. Also, the thumb tracks were packaged weird and we had to push the sharp part through the plastic in order to use them. It turned out nice though.

Nice quality, great price
So glad I chose these frames -- and I got a double set, to boot! Nice quality. Yes, as other people have mentioned, it's hard to get the plastic wrap off. I got off just enough, and then snipped the rest with scissors. Hopefully the seller will fix this in the next run. Still, I'm very happy. And despite the plastic, I highly recommend. ~Renae

Nice …..but ….
Lawd…these look quite nice once they are up …BUT ….the individual frames are shrink wrapped …THEN they put the rope in with screws ..so getting the shrink wrap off is cuss worthy … took lots of time and care ..and even then a few screws came loose..requiring crazy glue to repair …don’t think I could go through that again …
