Birds don't like it
I've had this hanging for over a month now and haven't seen a single bird take any interest in it. I have a lot of little finches in my hard too since my neighbor also feeds them and I keep a bird bath in my yard. So they come over to my yard for water. Ended up throwing it away. Guess I'll try another brand next time.

Birds Flock to Mr. Canary Thistle Sock Feeders
I can't say enough about these terrific Mr. Canary thistle feeders that come in bright green socks with sturdy white cordsfor hanging in trees and tall bushes. The chartreuse, yellow, and brown and white finches flock to them, whilepine siskins, sparrows, chickadees, and juncos gather to eat the seed that fall to the ground. There are twosocks in a heavy cellophane bag in the well made black, white, and green boxes, attractive enough for gift giving. The Mr. Canary Company of Carmel, IN employs the disabled in the creation of this excellent product.

Finches in my yard wonāt eat this
I have a lot of Goldfinches that love seed from a sock. Except this one. I left the sock up for a week, not a single bird. I bought another sock from my local store & hung it next to this sock. Goldfinches are all over the new sock but will not try this one.

Only the finches can enjoy this!
The green and white sock is hanging now and the house finches are enjoying it as are my ground feeding birds (quail, dove and sparrows) but the lesser goldfinches have not shown up. Perhaps they have migrated?

Birds ignored. Perhaps they donāt like the spring green?
These are sturdy and very well made. They come with a generous amount of seed. However the sweet birds who came in great numbers my previous white thistle feeders have ignored this. Iāve moved it 3 times after they didnāt return to the place Iād used. The wind destroyed my last ones which were back ordered.

Finches have enjoyed the thistle seeds
Our finches love these, and theyāve held up well after refilling. I havenāt tried to clean them.

birds won't go to it
It's been hanging up for over a month now and has barely been touched. I had 6 yellow finches sit on top of the hook I hang the sock on but it's like they didn't know what to do. I will probably buy a regular finch feeder and empty the seeds into that.

New vs Old
I think the holes are too small. The birds prefer my old seed socks and rarely use these new ones. When it gets crowded at the feeding station, they do eat off these socks. They might be getting a little lazy
