Harissa Paste 760g

Used the harissa with yoghurt and beetroot as a side dish and it stood up to the test and added the necessary fire . There is quite a lot in the tin, more than will normally be needed for most recipes, so some is stored in a plastic container in the fridge waiting for my next harissa dish.

Having previously bought Harissa Paste from other outlets I saw this one here and thought the price very reasonable. Having taken delivery and tasting it I found it rather bitter and not up to the quality of the more expensive versions.So although not to my pallet it could well find favour with others, each to their own.

Big tin, flavour great and popped rest of it into ice cube moulds and froze it. Then you can just take quantity you need for recipe.

We use harissa in our cooking and this Tunisian harissa is of a great standard. We are happy with the price. We received it with little wait. We would buy this product again.

The product I’ve received has puncture marks on the bottom of the tin and indentations. It appears that one if these has leaked and is now mouldy. I tried to return but says no return policy. I don’t recommend buying this product as my money is wasted.

I used it to make stew. It's not as red as the ones in tubes but tastes ok. Really ads flavour.
