SmartGuard Glossy White Inkjet DVD-R - 16x, 4.7GB, Hub-Printable, Water Resistant - 50 Pack

I use these for 2 functions. I burn blu-ray discs of the weddings I produce and I also use them to back up data for long term storage of certain video files. These discs have worked great for both, I've been using them for a few years and have rarely come across a bad disc. Very happy with the purhase.

My iMac doesn’t recognize it once you burn the disc. I repeated the procedure several times with same results on OS Sierra. Verbatim works better and it’s glossy too.

I am a photographer and it is great to provide a client with a glossy cd or dvd. These look Great, and so far work very will in my Mini-Stack for my Macbook Pro. I would definitely recommend this. (I do have to check for dual layered versions for larger files).

While the surface of these discs are decent, the coating on every single one of the discs was offset leading to an obvious white ring where the ink could not stick. For family and friends this would be okay but for anything professional I cannot recommend.The discs burn alright and while I have not had a single one fail, the speed is very hit and miss compared to other (non-printable) discs I've used which suggests less than stellar quality.

These look very good bu the dye is not the quality you find with JVC TYuden watershield or Verbatim Aquashield. They are not bad but you can clearly see dye issues on some discs and I wonder if they will fail later.

I've only used about 5 of these disks but they have worked perfectly and I had no issues at all. They were recommended to me because of the longer lasting more durable coating.

These Glossy White DVD are the best. The photos I print on them look crisp and sharp. I like these way better than the Matt finish DVDs.
