Galison Rainbow Seashells 2000 Piece Puzzle, Multicolor

I bought this puzzle for my mom who does a few a year as a hobby. She can be picky and easily irritated by puzzles, but driven to complete those she hates on principle. Well, she absolutely LOVED everything about this puzzle. The size, colors, details. She still talks about it years later which is pretty incredible.

This is a great puzzle. After reading the reviews, I was hesitant to purchase but I didn't have any problems with it. When I first opened it up it had a strong chemical smell, like maybe it was from a new batch. The smell faded quickly, the pieces were all in good shape, and all pieces were accounted for. It's a very pretty puzzle and has been very enjoyable to put together.

I gave this a 5-star for easy to assemble, but that doesn't mean it was actually easy to complete. I spent a good week or two putting this puzzle together with my girlfriend. We had a blast doing it and we are also glad its done. Its a beautiful photo and makes for a very challenging project. Recommended for hardcore puzzle lovers.

This puzzle took up half of my dinning room table; it is a big puzzle! Very fun and challenging but didn't take an excessively long time to put together. I almost want to frame it, the picture is so pretty. Would absolutely recommend!

I’ve never put a 2,000 piece puzzle together before. Be prepared for taking up your entire dining room table. It was fun to put together. My only complaint is that the pieces are all the same basic shape and it is hard to tell if 2 pieces actually go together. I had to disassemble parts because they looked like they fit but didn’t. It’s also very hard to separate pieces after they’ve been put in place. It took me 35 minutes (yes, I timed myself) to take the entire puzzle apart to store away. Still, I enjoyed it and do recommend it with those caveats.

Purchased brand new and built it and from the start border missing 3 pieces and center missing one. Very upsetting

What a beautiful puzzle. We worked at it for about a month. It's very satisfying to accomplish, especially due to its 2000-piece size.

I was excited waiting for this puzzle to come. I discovered it while on vacation on Captiva, FL and decided to order it because I didn't want to haul it home in a suitcase.The box is of high quality and very sturdy. The color on the box and on the puzzle is vibrant and appears of high quality. However, the puzzle pieces are very low quality. The image is peeling up from many of the pieces and many pieces are damaged. some of the image appears to be bubbling or peeling. The cardboard that they use is peeling too, as if the layers are separating. I am not motivated to work this puzzle due to the unexpected poor quality of the pieces. It's just not rewarding to sit and guess if the fit of a piece is correct or if the issue is the peeling/damaged pips that are frayed.I was so excited to try a Galison puzzle. Their website shows so many vibrant and colorful puzzles. Puzzles pieces should "snap" together and one shouldn't be left to study imperfections with a magnifying glass to be certain the piece is correct. Most puzzles have one or two pieces that were maybe slightly damaged in shipping perhaps, but I'd say about 20% of these pieces are totally unacceptable and another 15% are below average.I wonder if I was shipped a "second" or "defect" in an effort to fill Covid-19 puzzle demand.
