This pasta strainer works great in my 20 qt pot. It is easy to lift out cooked pasta to drain when cooking large amounts of pasta for large gatherings. It is sturdy and good quality.

It works well. It wasn’t as large as I thought it would be, but that was on me.

I wanted to use this with a 16 quart stock pot but, unfortunately, the handle overhangs makes the basket too large in diameter without removing the handle (the handle can be removed easily). The basket dimensions are: 10" diameter @ the base, 11 1/2" diameter total @ the top (includes: 10 3/4" diameter @ the rolled top edge + 3/4" additional projection of the handle ends, ), X 9" high. Other dimensions I would have liked to have known: basket perforations are 1/2" diameter circles @ 1 1/4" on center, the handle is a 1/4" diameter bar that measures 13" high when fully extended. The basket is aluminum with a brushed finish. There are three extruded 7/8" diameter feet at the basket bottom that elevates the basket 3/16" high off of the surface.The basket is durable and well made. Recommended if size works for your stock pot.

Perfect for a Crab boil

I try to avoid products made in China and if I would have known up front, I would not have bought it. It is very lightweight and is not heavy gauge aluminum but it does get the job done. The handle will not hold itself up but tends to fall into the pot. Be ready for hot hands but it does work and fits my 20 quart pot.

this fits perfectly in my 20 qt pot allowing for easy blanching of any of my summer vegetables for this winters use! cleans easily the handle makes lifting back out a breeze

Purchased this for my 24 quart stainless stock pot. Fits perfectly - it sits down in the pot with about 5" to the top. My stock pot is tall. I use the basket for mini stove top boils. I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seem useful.
