My Camp Kitchen MCK-O-K Outdoorsman Kit

This item arrived today and I could not be happier. The overall quality is first rate. I have wanted to make one of these from scratch for years and just never found the time. Saw this and thought I would give it a try. After about two hours and two beers it is complete and looks great. Every thing is precisely cut and drilled. The wood was all very straight and smooth. I did need to clean out the dado's a little but the even included a couple of strips of "extra" wood to make it easy. I used a sander on the edges which was recommended in the instructions. I applied the first coat of a good polyurethane and will probably do two or three more to help make this last a good long time. The carry handles are very heavy duty, and the latches and hinge seem adequate.My only negative comment is the instructions. I'm a pretty handy guy and I was able to figure it out without to much trouble but it would have been nice if the had some pics to show each step. They do include pics of each of the parts, so that did help quite a bit. Just would like to have step by step pics to confirm exactly what I was supposed to do. If your not handy you may need to plan another hour or so for assembly. Also I had a strap in the box that I really have no idea where I am supposed to use it.All in all a very nice product. Not cheap, but I will say it is a fair price for what you get. Headed out camping tomorrow and I'm really looking forward to setting it up in my campsite. Well done!
