Simple little thing that works.
I have a little mini 'industrial pc' that I use as a router, and well it's fanless. No place to fit a reasonably sized fan inside the little case. So I used this, connected to an AC USB charger I had, to connect two fans on the outside of that little PC. One on top blowing on the cooling fins, and one on the bottom blowing into the vent holes, using velcro to attach them. No jerryrigging them to some (I think) fan connectors on the inside of the case and hoping it would work. This simple little device just made it easy to hook them up.

Works as advertised, however, the housing does get a little hot and it started to fall off a little. But other than that, no complaints.

Perfect if you need a small fan!
I have more than my fair share of PC fans and in a flavor of sizes (mostly 120mm and 140mm). I actually use them to keep network equipment cool at my parents house (one is pointed to an Arris SB8200 modem, another for the Asus AC68U).The modem tends to have connectivity issues with lots of uncorrectables when left running as is. After putting a fan on it, blowing directly onto the heatsink, the number of uncorrectables dropped significantly. Since there's no way to easily attach a fan to the modem, I used this adapter and an old USB charger to power up two Cooler Master fans. Even at max RPM (about 1100RPM), the fans are completely silent and keep my parents network problem free.This adapter will force any 2/3/4 pin fan to operate at full speed, so be mindful if this will be in a sound sensitive environment.

Niche problem solver
I had an extremely niche and frankly silly problem that I had with some extra desktop fans I had sitting around. Did some research and these ended up being my pick. Did not disappoint!

Good quality, not the best.
This cable do its job. But the USB plastics is very cheap, I need to strengthen them once in a while, I even tho to glue them. Super annoying.Also within time while you keep putting these plastics together the USB connector and connectors getting loosened and eventually not working.

Easy To Use
This product was very easy to use for a noctua fan I was having difficulty with on connections.This looks to upscale to actual voltage it needed, I run an external noctua fan and a copper cpu heatsink on a 6850M XG Mobile for added performance for thermals, trying to push more air in, and pull some heat concentration from the back out via the copper heatsink.So far so good as of today, works well so far.
