KDJAMI A1322 Battery for MacBook Pro 13-inch A1278(Mid 2009, Mid 2010, Early and Late 2011, Mid 2012 Version) Laptop Batteries (A1322-02)

This battery comes with no instructions, so you'll have to find a guide on the web to make sure you uninstall the old battery properly, and can then install this one (very easy). Then, make sure you calibrate the battery properly (very important - again, there's nothing supplied with this battery to tell you that).When new, the battery showed one battery cycle, a manufacture date in September 2020 (battery bought late December), and a full capacity significantly above the original Apple battery. After calibrating the battery and then putting it through a few cycles, the capacity is still well above the original battery, as you can see from the CoconutBattery screen shot I've attached to this review. So, overall, I'm very happy - I've got a healthy, high-capacity battery for a good price.If you want to really extend the service life of this battery, I suggest using a battery-charge-limiter app (there are a few available, try googling "macos godly-devotion charge limiter app" for the one I use*) to limit the maximum charge to 80%.* This one is useful as the minimum supported OS is macOS 10.12 Sierra, whilst others require a newer OS. If your machine won't "officially" run Sierra, you can install it pretty easily by using a patcher (google: "dosdude Sierra patcher").

I have had the battery a year or so and to start it functioned as expected. It reached a stage after six months where I would be charging my battery twice a day (very minimal usage). Now it just drains completely in half an hour.The price was too good to be true and I should have expected a poor quality product in the end. Please take this in to account before purchasing.

I ordered two batteries "KDJAMI A1322 Battery for MacBook Pro 13-inch A1278". Arrived quickly. They where charged half way. Tested with "Coconut Battery" - the battery health came up as 100% on on of them and 99.99% which is absolutely normal for a third party batteries. The physical condition and feel of the batteries is good! Doesn't leave you with the impression it's a cheap battery. Comes with two screwdrivers - one for the bottom screws & one for the battery screws inside.

Product works ok but disappointing battery life

I used 60% alcohol and an old credit card to remove the existing battery. I used a pippete to pour in small amounts behind the battery. Once the card is behind the battery you can pour a little more alcohol down the card.Remove the speakers in the Mac first to void getting alcohol on them. The one which has a trickier cable run can just be moved away rather than disconnected.I calibrate the battery once in. Charge to full and leave for 2 hours to get properly full. Discharge until it turns off then leave for 5 hours to fully discharge. The turn on and cahrge to full again. It is usuable during this last charge.

Seems all good so far. Lasts 4-5 hours. Does take a while to charge up to 100% when 90% is reached. Very pleased to be able to use my Mac again and hopefully it has a few more years of use left after I followed several steps to clean and speed it up

Worked good for 18 months, but then suddenly went fault. Not charging, but laptop reading status as 100% charged. It has only done 67 cycle charging, well below 500 claimed on the amazon website. Would not buy or recommend this company battery replacement.

This was bought as a replacement for another replacement battery that was useless. Did the calibration as recommended by other reviews on here. Found out how to on you tube.The battery holds its charge and powers Mac book Pro for hours. Highly recommended
