Portable Mini Stove, 500W Small Electric Hot Plate, Hot Burner Cooktop

I was surprised that this little thing actually works as a real hot plate. I retired my gas oven as it was too expensive and have been cooking on this little guy with no problem. So far it has been great.

The burner is the perfect size for my mini stainless steel kettle for tea. It smelled bad the first few times I turned it on, but that subsided quickly. I'm glad I got it. You can run it off solar, just in case.

I have been wanting something like this for a while. Very useful for heating small portions in a small pot when stove burners are too large and energy- wasting. Cook a single egg or two ...perfect.

Plugged it in and turned it on. The LED light did not come on and it did not get hot. Tried putting a pot on it in case it was weight sensitive but it still did not work.

I purchased this mini hot plate to use with my very small battery box during a short power outage. It is super small - the burner is about the size of a cup warmer. But in a pinch, I think it will work well. I store it with the battery box in my outage emergency kit. I expect it work just as I need it to in a pinch - having said that - I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seem useful.
