Cigar Butane Torches Lighter with Punch Butane Refillbale Metal Lighters Windproof

2nd Cohiba lighter I've bought. This one was a gift. It's a great lighter and the power coat paint is top class. The flame itself is perfect and the punch makes it the go to cigar accessory. I'm very happy. This won't be my last purchase. It's a perfect gift.

I originally gave this lighter one star. So why am I now giving it five you may ask? Let this serve as a cautionary tale. I had the lighter for about two weeks before it stopped working completely. It goes without saying that it's pretty disappointing. To be blunt, I was ignorant to how refillable torch lighters work. So hopefully this review will be helpful to anyone new to them. My first and biggest mistake was buying cheap, Ronson butane. That is a big no no! You want a premium high purity butane for your torch lighter, such as the ones made by Colibri, Xikar, and Lotus. Cheap butane will clog up the jets. I think this was the biggest factor in my lighter's premature demise. My second mistake is that I was not aware that when you refill your lighter you must first bleed all the gas and air remaining inside. There are tools for this, or you can just use a small screw driver or such to hold in the fill port to allow the air and gas to escape. This is the simplest fix for a lighter that has stopped working if you're like me and were unaware of this necessary step in refueling.

Works good in the wind. But 4 flames is too much for the average light.

Just received so I can't speak on longevity yet but the lighter was easy to fill and works great so far. just a bit over minimal flame setting is plenty (it sputters at the minimal setting). Looks and feels of decent quality. A good buy for the price.

The device has a very high quality build, feel, and look. The functionality and ease of use are just amazing. Great overall product!

Would not recommend. This lighter looks nice, but IMHO there is a serious design flaw. First the Pros: nice compact size, good flame pattern. Cons: the flame adjustment is controlled by a large wheel which makes up the entire bottom of the lighter. When carried in your pocket, this wheel is constantly getting turned inadvertantly....so when you take it out to use it, you eigther have a flame thrower because it is on the highest setting (nice if you want to braise or solder something) or you have no flame at all (because it has moved to the lowest setting). Most other lighters have the flame adjustment recessed and you need a small screwdriver or nailfile to adjust it. But this adjustment is awful and constantly moves around on its own. If I had known this, it would have been a deal breaker and I would have bought a different lighter.

This lighter is powerful. I find it too much flame for lighting a cigar. If you are looking to melt pennies or cans, it rocks. Even when I hold the cigar far away it still tends to burn the leaf but hey, thats just me. I like the cutter in it and the fuel viewing window is great. I bought another lighter that has a single flame so I think I will keep this one for some serious wind. Overall I like it and had no issues filling it with regular fuel you can purchase anywhere.

worked fine for the first cigar i lit with it. 2nd cigar i tried to lite the next night, it doesn't work, ignites for a split second then goes out, can hear gas hitting but doesn't stay lit.
