Vacuum bags for college prep
Found two sets of these bags (small and large sizes) saved our college-bound son a huge amount of room while packing a school year’s worth of clothes. Worked great for traveling by plane and allowed for quick and organized unpacking. Very sturdy and easy to fill and then remove air using vacuum. Bags can be reused if they are handled gently. An added plus is they take up very little space in the dorm room in between uses.

Great and easy
I always read the reviews but rarely do I write one. I had to write a review on these bags as they are excellent. They were very easy to use and held the items as described for the prize. You get an excellent product. I highly recommend them.

Decent in general - Great for the price
There seems to be a seal issue with one of the bags, but the others work just fine. For the price, totally worth it. We do have "rustic" old wood floors, and had one bag tear after consistently dragging it out from under the bed... but that's our fault.

Some work, some don't
Well after reading the reviews I thought I would try these bags; the price was good and others said they worked. I have had nothing but trouble with these. One out of all I got has held its seal. I have the real space bags in the hall linen cupboard that hold winter bedding sealed until I open them. These bags slowly lose their seal over time. All but one. I have tried repacking and resealing but they still take in air over time. It looks like you have a seal and you place them on the shelf and next time you look they all puffy again, ro no longer flat so they fall off the shelf. I will be staying with the real space bags from now on, you get what you pay for.

Waste of money and waste of time
I used this product to seal simple items like towels, a blanket, and t-shirts. Yet it still failed miserably at the job. I resealed and vacuum it three times throughout the day and night as well as made sure to pack below the dashed lines. I gave up this morning because at this point all bags are like this. As soon as you vacuum the air out, the same outlet has air that comes back in quickly which is a poor design compared to the last picture I provided of a competitor product I got overseas. That bag came with a vacuum of its own, shrunk down two giant foam wedges, outlet doesn’t have air leaking back in, and has kept its shape for over a week. This product basically defeats the purpose other than being a giant plastic bag. I received this yesterday night and used it right away since I’m moving. So definitely frustrated and in more of a rush to pack and find an alternative solution.Save yourself time and money and look elsewhere!!!

Love these bags!
I purchased these bags to use for storing my maternity and newborn clothes. In was hesitant based on the mixed reviews but am very glad in ordered them. They are a little confusing to understand at first, as I couldn't figure out the cap, it said to remove the cap and then turn the valve. There is a POP OFF cap on the top of the twist valve that I couldnt quite find. Once I figured that out they were very easy. Here is what I did:1. Put my clothes into the bags and then put the bags inside the storage bins I was planning to store them in. Then arranged the clothes so they would fit in the bins.2. Twisted the valve and used vacuum ( dyson) I found that I needed to open the valve a little more than what was recommended on the instructions once I had the vacuum turned on.3. Here is the part that some reviewers were having issue with, WITH THE VACUUM STILL ON, turn the valve to close it, then turn off vacuum. No air lost that way. Them simply replace the pop cap.4. I added another bag on top of that bag in my storage container and repeated twice more to have 3 flat bags of clothes in one storage container.Love these bags!

Multipurpose Storage Option
I used these bags to make my suitcase contents smaller. I was able to fit two weeks worth of clothes in one bag. The seal did not break, even when I used it for a second time, which is rare for this type of bag. Two thumbs up.Easy to use. Does the job. Works great for all of our winter coats that we hardly use.I depend on these to store comforters and quilts. Space Bags free up a lot of space taken up by items with a lot of loft and are still good for pretty much everything that you want to keep clean while in storage.I think they're plenty durable as long as you follow instructions and only fill up to the "fill line" and handle the bags with a reasonable amount of care.

Switched to these bags from ziploc vacuum bags
I purchased these a while ago, and have just started using them. I have a baby, so she is outgrowing clothes very quickly. I wanted a way to store all of her clothes in the garage, keeping them clean and dry, and idealy taking up as little space as possible. These work great! Previously I have used the ziploc space saver bags, which I have been happy with. However, I did not like the options on sizes that they sold together. The Jumbo size was WAY too big, and the small and travel sizes were just way too small. I was looking for a set of bags that sold the medium and large together, and that is how I came to purchase these.I use a ton of these bags to store the babies clothes, blankets, and toys, maternity clothes, and extra sheets/bedding. In the future, I will buy this brand over the ziploc brand because I prefer the mix of medium/large sizes, and because the price is better for equal quality.
