Very solid , well made book ends ,good size ,length and height , nothing fancy just does the job , good choice of colours and good value for three pairs. Would recommend.

Used as bookends on my shelves absolutely perfect as I didn't want anything distracting or that took up too much space as I only have short shelves. One shelf butts against thick hardbacks and another against novella paperbacks with no issues.Just so that you're aware, if you like to put your books in height order these go under a fair few books and increase the height of the books slightly which if you're like me can be a smidge irking, but that's obviously not a fault of the product. It's one of those things that I didn't think about when purchasing, but if you aren't like me and ridiculously particular than absolutely no issues.

The non-slip magnets are useless on wooden shelves

Looks like these were poorly stored. One if the lair arrived in a mess, with paint rubbed off, black rubber marks and bent metal. Too cheap to bother returning and the sheet metal is flimsy enough to bend back into shape. Disappointing.

To use on the ends of some open shelves I bought for my kitchen

Very sturdy and nice finish. Minimalist look, just what we wanted.
