Great little rod
This is a surprisingly nimble lithe rod. I paired mine with a bait casting reel from the same company. Cats really nice and doesn't get stuck extended when trying to put it away. Great price for a rod to take on the road

Very nice traveler
Got the 10 footer. Had to use duct tape around the barrel to fit my Penn 4000 series spinning reel, but that’s just because the reel is not very big. This could fit a much larger reel. Packs very nicely in my luggage. Very sturdy when extended. Survived 2 trips so far. Highly recommended.

Amazing pole, fantastic warranty, must have.
Purchased this pole on 2021, used it as my favorite pole and it was great. Fast action, landed many fish with it, until it broke....I was sad, was within 1 year of purchase and reached out for a warranty claim. The seller responded very quick, acknowledged the issue, and shipped a replacement in less than 3 days. That alone was worth the purchase.Still my favorite go to pole, would highly recommend. Great customer service and validating to get issues resolved quickly.

updated: Snapped in half 2nd day of uses
Update: I gave this pole One star but bumped it to four stars for the companies commitment to its product. They reached out to me after my reviews and sent replacement rods for both rods that broke. I can't say that the replacements will hold up but I can say that the company will stand by their product. Any company that will do that I can appreciate. Thank you.Second section broke in half. This was literally the second time I used it on my trip that I’m on now in Maui. I was using it to catch bait fish. So, I had a small hook with one inch lure grubs and three pinch weights. I was shocked when it snapped in half. I thought “no way!” There was literally no weight behind the cast and it snapped! I still can’t believe it. It was packed safely in my carry on luggage in its little case. There’s no way it got any strain in that section of pole before I used it. I have two others from this company and I hope they don’t eventually do the same. Very unhappy that it is rendered useless now.

Cheap and compact, not bad.
I got this pole specifically for a short trip to North Carolina. I wanted a setup that i could throw in my carry on bag. After reading probably way too many reviews, i settled on this one mainly for the price point. I figured this rod probably would not last too long, but could work for a fun 3day trip. Combined this rod with the smallest 20$ 1000 spinning reel i could find, some #10 braided line i had already lying around, and a SMALL box of tackle. I could literally fit it all in my jacket pockets.I got the shortest rod they offered, i think it was a 5 foot 9 inch, medium. The rod is light weight, but a bit heavier than my 7foot casting rod. The reel seat is actually rather strong feeling and looks cool (my favorite part of the whole thing). The rod held up pulling in small bass and sunfish, but i did not get anything over 2lb. Im not sure how well it will hold up to 5+lb. or a heavy fighting species. The telescopic functioned with out any issues, the sections stayed out while fighting the fish and casting, they retracted fairly easily when packing it up. The tip section is much more flexible than i would have liked from a medium weight rod, but it did help in feeling the dinks biting. I was having little issues throwing out 1/32 oz lures. Retrieval felt fine. The eyes are not that strong, and i could see them failing it hit on trees or the ground too often.Overall i would say im happy with this purchase, this is DEFINITELY not my go to rod, and will probably only really be used in situations where i have to run minimal. But for such a low price point, and so far the durability seems substantial enough, this was a great purchase. With all that said, i would probably never buy another one again, i would buy a much higher end one for more regular use. But if you are looking for a fishing rod you can shove in your backpack for a short trip, backpacking, camping, or if you are incredibly new at fishing and want something cheap to just play with, i would definitely suggest this rod. If you are like me and fish 3+ times a week, you probably want something a bit better. Also just in case you were thinking this, no this rod would not be good in salt water. Please dont buy this if you plan on surf or ocean fishing at all. I guarantee you will face several issues with oxidation or rust. This is great for small lakes and rivers, think smaller and you will not be disappointed. Good luck, and tight lines.

Better then Expected
I had low expectations, bought 2 of these for a trip to the Gulf, expecting them to be 1 time use, (never had a telescopic pole that held up). I was shocked, they have become my go to poles (I bought 2) so far, biggest fish was 29lb catfish and they held up just as well as my larger more expensive 2 piece poles. 10/10 would buy again.

Overall good fishing rod.
The reel seat doesn't lock the reel properly , you need to fit a piece of cupboard underneath for it to lock the reel securely.
