Saw these clips and thought they might work to hang up an address sign. It had two pre drilled holes but I didn't want to drill through my siding. These clips worked perfectly. So easy to install. I did this while I was microwaving a bowl of soup. Had my sign hung up in a snap. So you might be able to get creative with what you use these for. As long as it isn't too heavy.

I used these clips to hang my outdoor security camera. I was nervous to drill holes in the vinyl siding. So I gave these a shot. Wow! Perfect! It has held up in snow, ice, freezing weather, high winds, and pouring rain. I also used Christmas light clips to secure the wire. Perfect! No mess. Clean look. I’m so impressed! These clips are amazing. I wasn’t sure it would work as I was doing this. But it is a few weeks later and it’s still perfect!

I only needed to use one clip on the mount that is supplied with Blink outdoor cameras and it's very sturdy. Some of the videos show two mounts but they were unnecessary.

I was initially concerned that these might not hold too well as by themselves they can be easily pulled out of the siding after installation. My concern was unfounded, as adding the camera mount causes the top lip of the mount to hold the clips in place and results in what is in my opinion a very sturdy mount. So they absolutely work when a camera mount is attached. I would think they should work with other mounts as long as the same principle applies where the top lip of the mount sits above the lip of the siding above the clips and holds them in place.

The hook that is supposed to latch onto the vinyl siding is too short. It won't catch on the opening within the siding. I've tried and tried to bend them but they are very hard. Even my husband has tried. If we can figure out a way to bend them and make the arc of the hook more severe we might be able to use them but right now they just fall off of the siding. A longer piece of material on the hook would help it 'grab'.

I used these clips to attach a blink camera to my Mom’s house. They were very easy to use and are holding up great. The camera has been holding steady now for over a month and it is very easy to move or adjust without damaging the siding. They work perfect!

Impressed with this item as it works as advertised and is very easy to install on the vinyl siding. I used them to mount small security cameras and they did that with no problem. I would advise to be careful about how much weight you put on them. Not because of the clips but because of the strength of the siding as it could pull loose.
