I've had for 3 years now
Had gotten me and many of my boats including my bass rader 10f pontoon boat loaded down with gear miles I've probably gone close to 250 miles with just the drill paddle held up way better than I thought it would prop is strong only thing is the shaft wears away at the plastic cap causing the shaft to have play now but it's not really bad still works well

Well built and worth every penny!
This drill paddle will push you across the water quite nicely! I had been considering inventing a contraption like this to help paddle the large family floatie. I'm glad I decided to Google such a tool to see if it had already been done. I'm using a DeWalt 20 volt cordless with the 5ah (high capacity) battery. I recommend bringing a second battery. Mastering steering put me on a bit of a learning curve. It also works in reverse but not as effectively. Once I'm anchored, I put the drill in a sportsman dry box to keep it dry.

Not worth the money
I got this today pulled it out of the box and it is not able to be used with a drill. It has a round metal rod that is supposedly made to work with drills. It does not, shipping is slow.

Fun
Pretty cool for messing around. It'll take you about as fast as you can paddle. Def fun to mess around with but I personally wouldn't use for anything serious. It technically requires you to license your kayak and if you're gonna go through that much trouble might as well have a trolling motor.

Cool concept
Great concept I use on a 12ft aquapod used an old motorcycle handle bar clamp and made a base that allows to pivot and turn. Don’t know how long shaft will last in plastic tube not sure if it has bearings. Bottom line I wanted a lightweight motor with a 18v drill attached it is perfect with a full charge I can go 1/2 mile full throttle and still have half charge left. Great for when paddling in head wind or tidal current works great after mounting to a pivot , have a feeling gearheads will take this concept to higher levels with better materials . Very happy with this set up and not done modifying it is set up like a mud motor on my yak.

Use a good drill
This product worked awesome! I was able to pull 8 floats and a kayak with no problem! Definitely worth the money. I used a Dewalt 20v lithium ion drill. Be careful with the torque of the drill cause it will cause you to loose balance. Overall I give this product 5 stars!!

I liked the concept but...
I bought this paddle because why not.. I loved the concept of having this as just incase backup. Might require needing some modifications to your boat, raft etc.. as it will scoot around from the force of the drill and will challenge your arms to keep it steady in the water. And even with a lot power behind the drill, I notice I was not moving fast enough to justify the effort. Maybe the weight of my water vessel, I will try it again in my raft to see if there's a difference. Despite my cons.. I'd say it's a good item to have considering the price and the concept. Your experience maybe different from mine and maybe I'm just a novice at using it at the moment.

Amazing product
This product actually came from Walmart shipped by amazon. Nevertheless it works great with a 2 speed brushless lithium cordless drill. Lots of thrust power . I’m using it as a pool cleaner to move dirt and leaves down to the drain area. I will make a mount for it so that I can swim against its resistance in my pool. I’ll also use for my kayak as I will make a mount for it too. I’m glad this product was made . 👍😎 I would order it again 9.
