The case for transformational change in education
This book outlines the case for a new provision of education for learners in the school system. It succinctly takes the reader through the case for transformative change as a means to ensure that young people not only survive, but indeed thrive as they prepare to contribute to the world of the mid 21st century. Valerie Hannon describes the four radical external factors that our learners need to be exposed to in order to thrive: planetary or global, societal, interpersonal and intrapersonal. Hannon’s writing is a joy to read. She logically leads you through the case for a focus on each element. Each chapter leads to the next. I think it is so skilfully written that I am buying three copies to share with others.

The way of future education - a thought provoking book
Well structured and clearly identifying the reality of the future. Interesting to read of the work being done in the schools that were provided as role models. The author's perspective provided ideas and an approach to to meeting the needs of change that many schools could emulate. There are many challenges ahead for young people with the rapid advancement of technology not only in the learning situation but also in the business environment.
